    So it's more like "up to" (depending on Apple's sensors) and not necessarily has to be the exact color amount? Huh, did not know that .. I always thought it was the full amount!

    I'm confused because Apple says that the new "iPhone 12 Pro jumps from 8- to 10‑bit HDR recording, capturing 700 million colors." But doesn't 10-bit have 1.07 billion colors? Why does Apple say 700 million colors? Or is 10-bit HDR separate from regular 10-bit color?
