  1. The reason u suggest to populate all 4 slots with 8GB is due to the single rank vs dual rank configuration at I right? Is it okay if I just populate with 32GB (16x2) g skill trident Neo Ram. Would that still be in dual rank mode? How would it compare to 4 sticks of 8Gb?
  2. Was thinking which ram speed to get considering that 3800MHZ CL18 will have 9.47 latency and 3600MHZ CL16 will have 8.88 latency but with a 200MHZ decrease
  3. many of the issues are brought up here and on linus video here
  4. see https://linustechtips.com/topic/1533480-amd-7xxx-crashing-do-not-buy-amd/
  5. Basically, i got a special deal due to my old work place and manage to be able to snag a 4070ti at the exact same price of a 7900XT. However, I have heard so much about AMD driver issues and wondering is it really worth it to the the risk on AMD just for a few extra frames.. Im running a 5600x currently with plans to go to a 5800X3D in the near future. So if you were me, 4070ti or 7900xt?
  6. I currently have a 5600X with an RTX 2080. Im wondering if it would be a better choice to upgrade to a 5800X3D or a RTX4070? Since upgrading to a 5800X3D will give me about +20 Fps....
  7. I actually know that 5000 series were going to be announced already but a month ago I didn't have any system on hand so I had no choice but to go for the 3600 or else I wouldn't be able to work or game for a whole month because Lisa su decided to only release the 5000 series a month after they announced it hahaha.
  8. Hahahah yes that exactly what I meant. ohh hmm then I guess u shouldn't upgrade.. thanks alot!!!
  9. but by the time the 3600 value will drop even more though..! its going for 260 SGD in Singapore for a brand new 3600 currently!
  10. I am wondering is it dumb for me to upgrade from my current Ryzen 5 3600 that i just brought literally 1 month ago. If I were to make that upgrade I would have to sell the 3600 and make a 40$ loss but 40$ seems pretty okay for me just treating it as renting that CPU but I am wondering will there be like an average of 20 to 40 FPS jumps like many of the reviews benchmarks found in 1440p? Or is the upgrade a dumb choice? I have a RTX 2080 running 21:9 Ultrawide 1440p btw. Thanks for your advice!
  11. https://www.amazon.com.au/1200W-FSP-Aurum-Platinum-Certified/dp/B07DHSQBZN This!! But I can RMA it so yeaaaa hahaha
  12. Im getting rid of my Seasonic M12ii 620w power supply as it is crazy crazy loud when my system is idle running a R5 3600 and RTX 2080. So IM looking at a FSP 1200w but heard the common term OVERKILL. I dont mind paying for a 1200w as I got a good deal at just 90 bucks for a used one and it should future proof for future RTX series seeing how the 3000 r RTX is drawing so much power now. Also can someone please explain to me EFFICIENCY and does EFFICIENCY matter if I dont care about the electrical bill? Please help!
  13. I used to work in a company like Origin PC but this is the first time I ever scratched a motherboard and its MINE
  14. Would it be a possibility that something is actually not working and I am not aware of it or is it that if the motherboard POST everything is fine?
