  1. It's a Think Vision L151, I just found it googling the "9165-ac6" written in the back, I found some details about it here: Lenovo Support By the way, I use a Lenovo Thinkpad E470.
  2. Hello everyone ^^ I am having issues connecting a secondary screen to my laptop. It worked the first time but when my laptop went into sleep mode, the screen didn't come back from power saving mode not being detected by my laptop anymore. I connect the secondary screen to my laptop trough a VGA to HDMI adapter, since it's an old monitor. Thankyou for all of your help!
  3. I tried everything on those links and the VRAM doesn't seem to go up. It's stuck in 128 MB Any idea of what might be happening?
  4. Thankyou ^^ I will try this and update on the topic soon.
  5. It is indeed 24GB of RAM. I don't really know how integrated GPUs work but it should help, right? I just tried the game and it crashed after a few minutes. Everything at its lowest (without any additional tweaks yet) nor on my laptop or in the game (only the regular menu graphic settings).
  6. Konnichiwa ^^ I hope you're all doing great. I wanted to ask about your opinion regarding my laptop to run Genshin Impact, I've been playing the game on Mobile but my hands get sweaty and I don't enjoy it that much after a while. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E470. I tried UserBenchmark to give you all an idea and just pasted the text which said "forum": UserBenchmarks: Game 7%, Desk 61%, Work 6% CPU: Intel Core i5-7200U - 62.9% GPU: Intel HD 620 (Mobile Kaby Lake) - 5.7% HDD: Seagate ST500LM021-1KJ152 500GB - 60.8% RAM: Kingston 9905663-030.A00G Hynix HMA81GS6AFR8N-UH 24GB - 63.5% MBD: Lenovo 20H10039LM This is the link after the benchmark I tried it before and seemed to play nicely but it crashed without reason. Then I realized it had something to do with updates since other games which played fine before were not playable anymore. Now I fixed this and would like to reinstall Genshin Impact. Any advices to improve my system? I'm a highschool student and this was my brother's old laptop. I don't have any money (but could ask for an ssd for christmas). I would appreciate a lot some help. Me and Paimon would love to see each other trough the PC
  7. I just updated the BIOS and all the suggestions Now I find that windows is working weird, It doesn't allow me to type while I search for things. Windows Update is also telling me that it's all working fine I had issues with Lenovo updates in the past and I'm afraid it's happening again
  8. Thankyou for your answer ^^ I get a BIOS update, and 3 optional additional updates. While for what's already updated I get this: But I got those even before the laptop started failing
  9. Hello world (hahaha, I couldn't resist writing this on my first message) I'm sorry if my english is not perfect, I'm not a native speaker and I don't know much of IT either. I'm a highschool student enjoying some gaming and considering IT as a career. Recently I downloaded Genshin Impact on both of my devices, my laptop and my phone. I haven't played on the laptop for a while (Like 2 months or so) since I mostly play on moile, but it was capable to play Fallout 3, Saints Row The Third, other of my brother's steam games and Legends of Runaterra with no problems. It was my brother's old laptop but seemed capable to play many games on LOW graphics. Specially (probably) since he incrased the RAM from 12 GB to 24 GB. Well, long story short: Genshin Impact played great for around 1 minute and then it suddenly crashed. I tried with fans and air conditioning but it didn't seem to work. I surrendered and uninstalled it. Today I wanted to play Legends of Runaterra (which I could play perfectly last time I used my PC) and it crashed after around 3 minutes just like Genshin Impact. Probably a windows update messed something up, it happened before. My previous PC had a similar issue which my brother solved by reinstalling windows. This time it is very different. Before it wouldnt let me open any 3D game saying that some DLLs were missing, now games crash after a few minutes. I took some screenshots of my system, since it is from Latin America and might be different. I've always had Lenovo Thinkpad laptops since my uncle works for Lenovo and is giving my brother a laptop once in a while. My previous laptop was a Lenovo Thinkpad E440 and my first laptop as well. Which presented a similar issue but not crashing, but straight not opening. Any idea of what might be happening and solutions?
