  1. Yet no real advice on PC building just judgments on my monitor to 3080 for first start off. Lame group of people. No real help. Giving up on shitty community. Help people assholes.
  2. I’d say it again. My current 1050 is perfect for 1080p. I’m worried about the PC first because I’m not gonna spend money on a monitor that I can’t use to full performance if my PC can’t handle it. I do want 4K. But I’m asking for advice on PC not the monitor.
  3. That is my current monitor? I’m not kidding as of now. You guys are just rude. Things take time to actually upgrade I’m worried about my PC first then monitor. Why would I get a monitor that my PC can’t run the resolution on? My current 1050 is ideal for that monitor so shut your face big boy
  4. So I would buy the GPU last after everything. I want the 3090 but would settle for the 3080. I understand it would be unwise if i was looking to upgrade anyways to 3090 but I’d be happy with either. Let’s just not worry about that. Other than bottle necking or whatever with the CPU?
  5. Budget (including currency): $2000 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some AAA titles but most trying to do RTX and have a better VR system. I just want it to be smooth. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So I already own a PC but I want a second PC from scratch with the $2000 budget. I tried researching so I’m interested in ATX cases/motherboards. I’m open for any suggestions. I just have a few requirements that my motherboard should have and stuff for future upgrades. 1. 2 - M.2 NVMe slots 2. 2 - PCIE 4 slots for 2 GPU‘S(I only want one GPU for now but willing to listen) 3. I want the $699 3080 included in the budget but I might end up spending more than $2000 for the 3090. So I need a case that fits both. I might have an open case that’s basically a test bench so the GPU fits. 4. 4 slots for RAM 5. I would want more than 3000 Hz on each stick of RAM because I currently have 2666Hz I mainly plan on using this to play VR and to do ray tracing. I don’t care for the 20 series. I also prefer intel as it works better for me. I have an AOC 32 Inch Curved Monitor 144Hz and 1920x1080. Then I also have the valve index so that’s another 144 Hz and whatever resolution on each lens sorry
