Decided to update the bios on my Zephyrus M16. I let it do it's thing for about 10 minutes and came back to see with black screen and keyboard backlight on. I followed This reddit thread. I only have a macbook so I followed this guys intructions. Now I'm stuck as I can't find the CapUptBkTemp file even though I'm in the right disk. Got any idea what to do now?

Solved Turns out finding a VBIOS for my card; Maxsun RX 580 is quite difficult. VBIOS from other vendors such as Sapphire and xfx doesn't work since the sub id and vendor id doesn't match. Took a risk and tried an unverified vbios and that worked. No more crashes when I start up windows and now my core and mem clock are back to "stock". I've been experiencing crashes with my Maxsun RX580 recently. I think it might the custom BIOS that was put into it before I bought the card off some miner. Every time I start up windows, the display driver crashes. I've tried reinstalling the drivers and that didn't do anything. Contacting the seller is a lost cause. Looked through Maxsun's website and I didn't find anything. Same with VGA Bios collection. I'm hoping someone here might have the original bios.

Used gpu from fb marketplace with some issue last week I bought this Maxsun rx 580 4gb used from fb marketplace for about a $100. I noticed when I was cleaning it since it was dusty(mining¿). That some of the gold contact on the pcie was slightly burnt. Haven't tested it yet since the other parts of my pc hasn't arrived. Does it still work? If not any fixes?
