  1. Thanks for the help I was able to partition the drive in about 5 mins.
  2. Hello I built a new PC today and installed a WD 500G M.2 and a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. When I boot into my bios I can see the HDD connected to a sata port but when I boot to windows and go into my file manager it doesn't show up. What could be the problem?
  3. I got a XFX Radeon RX 570 and... Cancelled the CPU order. If you check my profile you'll see I have a proprietary Intel motherboard that they don't support. I went to install the graphics card and it doesn't quite work, well I need to update the bios as the motherboard is 10ish years old. I called Intel today and they don't have the files for it at all. Now I'm going to build a new system using my same case and power supply withe the graphics card I bought. I'm planning on building something AMD 3000 series CPU
  4. The Xeon 5650 recommended uses the same chipset
  5. Thank you I ended up ordering the CPU for 30 and spent 120 on the GPU. I plan on getting a SSD later as it's not in my immediate budget.
  6. For further information I have a Intel DX58SO motherboard and a 750w corsair power supply. no SSD just a 500GB Disc Drive. The rig also has in one of the PCI slots a USB 3.0 expansion card. Oh and a disc reader/burner. Thank you Br3tt and bmx for your input so far
  7. Hello I'm new to computers or at least the internals. I was looking to upgrading my GPU but I'm concerned it will cause a bottleneck somewhere else. I bought a rig for $100 and it came with a Core I7 quad core 920 @ 2.67GHz, 12GB of DDR3 1067MHz ram in 3 sticks, and a GeForce GTX 650. I'm thinking of upgrading to a GTX 1050 but not sure if its the right move to get more performance out of my machine. Any and all help would be appreciated.
