That's the thing, and I guess I didn't make that clear in my post, in each of these programs I set the curve manually and it was the same curve. I don't know if the other two weren't responding properly or not fast enough or what but with this program it's working flawlessly.

I have been trying to find a way to keep my temps on this card from maxing out at 83-85 for a month now and finally found something that seems to be working better than the Firestorm fan curve and the curve I set up in Afterburner. Ran across Argus Monitor in a forum post somewhere and it's keeping me max 70 C when putting the GPU under full load. It's really improved my performance so I thought I would share in case anyone else is having this struggle. I was getting ready to go out and buy a new case before finding this.
