  1. I know this may sound stupid, but I need to record with 3 webcams, connect them all to a usb 3 hub and then connect that hub to my pc in another room with a 5m extension cable. Is it possible in terms of bandwith? Or is it better to just pick my pc and move it in the other room where I plan to record? (I don't like the idea of doing it this way)
  2. Recently, when I open a video that I uploaded on my channel, youtube keeps loading to eventually say that "this video isn't available in this current resolution". I use chrome, but on mobile and on firefox, videos work perfectly, and even my friends can view them on chrome. Any other video on yt loads fine, but specifically my videos don't. I tried clearing my cache, cookies, disable extensions but nothing.
  3. Would you recommend him to reinstall windows and do a clean wipe?
  4. Little update: he got home and tried installing hwinfo64. Strangely his pc froze at the lock screen, so I guess it's not about temp. Maybe some corrupted file?
  5. One of my friends started having this problem, where his pc randomly freezes, crashes and restarts itself with a super lowd noise. This happens to him mainly when playing games such as rainbow six or valorant. It happens randomly OR when he punches his desk, or even when he puts down his headset on the desk. Pc specs are: ryzen 5 1600 (stock cooler), gtx 1050 ti, tomahawk max, 2x8gb of corsair vengeance, corsair rm650 and a 1tb seagate barracuda hdd. He also has xmp activated. I don't have any screenshots since it's not my pc but I've searched online and many people say it's a ram problem, thoughs?
  6. Fixed it. For anyone having this issue, check that the source patching box is turned on (that one on the left, saying A3 for me), then insert the video clip. I feel like an idiot but I genuinely didn't know this.
  7. This started happening randomly. If I create a sequence in premiere and put a video in it, my third audio track doesn't show. However, if I only insert the video file, without creating a sequence, it shows. You might be saying "then just don't create the sequence", but if I put another video file in, the second one doesn't have the third audio track while the first one does. Tried messing with obs, but when viewing the video in vlc, the audio track is clearly there.
  8. So, I record my videos with obs using CQP at 16. When finished recording the video has around 65k to 80k kbps of bitrate. My question is: what number of mbps do I use when rendering in premiere? (I use CBR in premiere).
  9. Thank you, couldn't get this off of my head for the past 3 months.
  10. Alright, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this but I tried searching everywhere for an answer for ages. I've always had this problem when uploading my videos on youtube: the bitrate seems very poor, even if the file had a very good quality. After searching everything I found out that in the "stats for nerds" section of youtube my videos have the codec "avc1.4d4014 (298)" while literally every video of popular youtubers have the codec "av01.0.08M.08 (398)". Is there a problem with my videos having this codec instead of the other one? How can I change it? I use obs to record my videos, and I use nvidia nvenc h.264 (new) as the encoder with the rate control set to CQP and the CQ level to 16. I then use premiere pro to edit the video. Originally I used VBR 2 pass to render it, but found that CBR gave me a better quality (even if it still looks pretty bad). Any tips for what I'm doing wrong?
  11. Aight thank you very much, he wants to die right now but he'll be ok
  12. Ok, he's at least a bit happy that it's not a serious problem + at least he gets a constant low ping in games. What card would you recommend for playing games for his max wifi speed (80-90 mbs)
