  1. Silly question but according to the manual for the mobo there is not a displayport output only hdmi and dvi-d? If you are connecting via hdmi have you tried changing the input on the monitor to hdmi rather than displayport (assuming the monitor has more than one input) you may have to manually tell the monitor which input to use if it keeps saying "displayport no signat"?
  2. Thanks guys appreciate the replies, Yes ram in slots 2 and 4 and also the motherboard set for default but CSM turned off and UEFi seems to all be on. Should fast boot and secure boot be on or off for better loading times. My 10 year old system seemed to be faster than this lol
  3. Hi Folks Just built a new system and it seems to be very slow to boot up and also very slow when running programs or moving files to the windows 10 mirrored storage space drives. It can take a couple of minutes from powering on to get to the login screen for windows 10 which I was not expecting. Nothing else attached to the system apart from mouse and keyboard and the components listed below. Motherboard firmware on the latest release and all the latest drivers from Gigabyte installed. I've NOT overclocked the system in any way apart from applying the XMP for the ram - nothing else. Motherboard set for "optimised defaults" Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. New specs of the system below.
