Hey everyone just wondering if anyone would know if I used a power line adapter from the router into another room then into a gigabit switch to my pc and a few other devices if there would be too much bandwidth loss. My roof is not an easy option to just run a cable so looking at other options first. thanks in advance probably an obvious answer

there's a few for around the $250-$300 mark on gumtree and im sure they will post for extra $10 or something i do agree prices of gpus here are currently stupid but there are some floating around i would highly recommend gettting a card in that budget or in the mean time find something

you should be able to find a decent gpu such as a 1050ti there pretty commmon on facebook or gumtree and not a bad performing gpu for what they are.

hello i am just in the process of getting a nas together for backing up my life as these days photos and everything else is important. i have a few questions if i could get some help as this is the first time of setting up something that is going to stay permanent. i am mainly wanting to store photos videos and backups such as apple back ups ect. i want something easy use for all products to access and something i can access remotely as well as just from the network. 1: what is a good server sofware to use i have been looking mostly at plex but am open to anything else people suggest apple back up is a must have. note i will be using an old system i have laying around as the nas. 2: i am looking at going to a raid 10 i am pushing towards ssd for longest lifespan but i am also open to usisng hdd as a raid 10 will have the saftey invloved. with a raid 10 can a new drive be added in at any time? from my understanding it needs to start with 4 minimum. but if i want to add a new drive do i have to do a fresh raid? is there a simple solution to adding more storage in later without disturbing the raid and potential lossing all the data. 3: is there any further tips. or future problems i may have that im not thinking of. thank you in advanced (first time poster)

Hey everyone I'm wondering if anyone could help me I'm wondering if the 980ti EVGA hybrid (water-cooled) card can be used upside down I have it in a small form factor and the temps seem to get really high and I think the pump isn't moving the water the rad was higher then the card if I put the card back in the say normal config it runs fine wondering if anyone has had experience Thanks in advance
