  1. Okay so why is my card getting up to 90C, before this started happening, I was getting temperatures of mid 60's low 70's.
  2. No in games like Metro Exodus before it started doing this, was reporting low 70's, at the same settings. So why would it jump to 90c in the same game? I just replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the heat sync, so it's not that.
  3. Oh so my card saying that it's getting to 90c when I play most games, means it's actually going to 90c?
  4. This isn't after some time, this is after 3, 4 seconds. I don't think the cooler is capable of cooling the card down 20c in 3 seconds.
  5. Powercolor Red Devil RX 480, and this isn't giving it time to cool down 20c, this is after several seconds.
  6. I already had the performance advisor open on my second monitor when playing games. Judging that it's giving off the same temperatures as the other typical software.
  7. The title pretty much says it all. I have an RX 480 that says that it's 20 degrees or so higher than what it actually is, when I play games or do intensive tasks. If it's a game, I can alt tab out of it, and the temperature would drop from 78C to 58C. It's not a game ender, it's just annoying. Just tired of AMD software popping up "20 new notifications from AMD Software", when I quit my games.
