  1. I just recently bought a new case. Everything worked together before swapping it, but after I swapped into the new case my pc wont boot and goes straight to error code 55. I have tested other RAM that I am certain works, and I have tested both of my 4gb sticks of corsair vengeance. Both of my corsair sticks work as a solo stick in channel 1(if looking at it from left to right from the cpu socket). It boots straight to Windows with either Stick as a solo 4gb stick. As soon as I add a second stick in channel 3(again if looking at it from left to right from the cpu socket), I no longer boot into anything. It just sits at error 55, or sometimes even boot loops once it reaches error code 00. I inspected all of the pins in the channel and I blew it out with a compressed air duster. I don't understand what could have happened since it literally ran perfectly 2 hours prior before I had swapped into the new case. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  2. That worked! Thank you so much for the help! I have been trying to figure that out on my own for a while. I have never used Linux in general, but that solved my problem so easily.
  3. I have not been able to verify that. I will try that out and let you know!
  4. I Just tried that, and it still does not show. I even used a different sata cable to make sure that the cable wasn't my issue. I have now tried 3 cables. I have swapped to 2 different ports and none of them work (with this drive). In my Sata ports I currently have my 2 crucial drives plugged in, my 1tb samsung drive plugged in, a CD/DVD reader plugged in and the the front SATA connector on my case plugged in. For the test you just reccomended, I unplugged the Samsung Drive because I knew that port worked and used that port for the drive that I cannot format. Still no luck...
  5. It does not show up in cmd it only shows the 2 that I can see in Disk manager
  6. @PorkishPig I just changed my profile to include that, but heres the full list CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K @4.7GHz OC GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1060 6GB MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Z87-PRO RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600 PSU: Rosewill 550W 80plus Bronze STORAGE: 2x Crucial 525GB SSDs and 1x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD
  7. I bought my PC used from a friend a while ago, and it had two SSDs in the bay. I didn't think anything of it at the time when I bought it but I just looked into it and I can only view one. I can see the "bad" one in Device manager under my disk drives tab, but I can not see it in Disk Management to partition it at all. In the included pictures, The one showing device manager has the one that is an issue highlighted. and then in Disk manager it is not visible. Is the drive bad, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for the help
