  1. So I'm building a new PC for the 3070, but am using my old Fractal Design Arc case to save money (not to mention I love it). It's 5 years old, but the four 140 fans mounted within are running fine. My question is: Should I just replace all fans, or just maybe buy an extra and deal with fan failures as they come? Is there a rule of thumb here, or am I over-thinking it? Thanks!
  2. Yeah and I'm struggling with the 30w and $20 for 0.2 GHz
  3. I thought of that actually, they are close in price.
  4. Right, forgot the extra fans. That ram looks promising.
  5. Budget (including currency): ~$1300 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming and PS This is my rtx 3070 build (if I can get one). I realize the mATX mobo may look a bit silly in that case but I'm looking for value not aesthetics. If you see somewhere I can squeeze more value without sacrificing performance, please let me know. 6. But now I'm curious as to why... better VRM heatsinks, better build quality, better features, or just strictly the better board?
  7. I'm going with a mATX mobo for my RTX 3070 build. As title says, which do you think is better the msi mag b550m mortar, or the asus tuf gaming b550m-plus? I'm on the fence and the reviews I've read/seen seem deadlocked. Appreciate the help.
  8. As long as its a good PSU you should be ok. As far as the 3600, I say go for it unless you feel it's time to upgrade.
  9. There may be some slight bottlenecking on CPU heavy games but you should be alright. How many watts is your PSU?
  10. yeah from the reviews I've seen the Asus tuf rtx 3080 has the best thermals. Whether or not that translates to better OC I'm not sure.
