I just wanna see opinions lol

Hey guys, I have an HP Omen 15 laptop and it's about 5-6 months old. I noticed the CPU gets quite hot when I play demanding games and I understand that it throttles to stay cool but I lose a considerable amount of preformance when it's hot. Also it's kinda uncomfortable knowing that your laptop is running at 88°C+ and it's loud. My cpu which is an i7 10750H, can't undervolt because intel got rid of this feature in the latest bios. All I can do is turn off turbo or adjust epp (speedshift), this helps but I want to try to retain most of my preformance. I haven't tried any bios flashes or anything like that cause I wanna know if it's even worth it. Also should I repaste the thermal paste? If y'all have any suggestions on any software or hardware based solutions I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So my friend has a crappy laptop and gets trash frame rates with any game. He's saving up money for a PC and I told him I could Help him build on. I want the PC to run AAA games at high settings 1080p decent FPS.
