Yeah we already tried that but when he does this he can't even see the hotspot network on his PC. Maybe it's broadcasting in 5Ghz and that's why.

There is nothing connected in the Ethernet port on the Motherboard.

It is not in Legacy currently, but it is broadcasting in 802.11n which should work with this card. He just moved in to his new apartment and tried to connect to the network with an other card earlier and it did the same thing. But then he gave the card he was currently testing to his roommate and it work fine for him. Apparently he had the same problem before moving in a few years ago and couldn't fix it so he used a very long Ethernet cable.

It is currently in the 1st pci-e 1x from the bottom up. We tried all the available pci-e slot too but none worked.

Hey guys I need help. I'm trying to help my friend install his Wifi card (TL-WN881ND) remotely and things aren't working out. His PC recognize the card and he installed the latest driver, but he still can't connect to any network. When he tries to connect to his network nothing happens. Like if it's not even trying to connect. I'm out of ideas and that's the 2nd card that does this with his PC. You'd save us a lot of trouble if some generous souls could help us fix this. How does it work? Do you only have to install the optane module and it automatically speeds up your HDD? Or do you have to install drivers and do some software work for it to work?

So I went and looked at the prices and you are right, optane memory is very expensive. But that raze more question. I've seen a 16 Gb optane module on newegg and that got me wondering, what are you supposed to do with that? You install it in your pc and it serve's as cache for you CPU ? And if so, would you need to install some sort of driver for your cpu to understand that the optane module is there as cache ? I really don't seem to understand the point of this kind of memory.

Hi all, I was reading some stuff about optane memory and I was wondering was it is. Is it like a SSD that you plug into a DDR4 slot, but serve as storage device ? Also, would a typical gamer benefit from it versus a normal SSD or M.2 ?

1) & 2) correct 3) That was nothing, he just thought his CPU was stock inside the socket, but he did not know how the AMD Bracket worked. He took out his CPU, cleaned his board and then reinstalled the CPU.

So my friend is having problems right now with his pc. His monitor isn't responding, so is his keyboard and mouse. But he says the pc powers on normally. Any ideas what might be the problem. His pc his really important to him right now because he use's it for school. His CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600. He also claim and showed me via video that the CPU won't come out of the socket. Help his poor soul please...

Random topic, but I'm kinda hyped for (and if) an other season of scrapyard wars actually happens, how the RTX 3000 series impact the second hand GPU market. Right now I know that the market is being overflowed with really good graphics card with really good price tags. So how do you guys think they should do the next season of scrapyard wars with that impact on the market ?

I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x and the advertised boost clock speed is 4.4 Ghz but while gaming or running cinebench in single core test I get around 4.1 Ghz which is pretty disappointing. Is this normal and is there a way to correct this ? (My drivers are up to date for my BIOS and Chipset)

I think the only card in the 3000 series that support SLI is the 3090 tho, but I'm not 100% sure.

There's been some leaks that the 3070 Ti will have 16 Gb of GDDR6 so that might be the solution to your problem.

I should have added this too, but if it's possible and useful to overclock a single core, do you have any guide on how to do it properly? I never overclocked any CPU before.

I have a Ryzen 7 3700x and I've been reading online a lot about overclocking. But it seems that for my CPU, overclocking is pointless for the usage of my pc ( which is gaming). But I also saw people talking about single core overclocking and I've been seeing a lot of people contradicting each other about the subject. So here are my questions : Is it possible to overclock a single core on my Ryzen 7 3700x and if so, is it worth it? (excuse my english if it sucked, it's not my native language)
