  1. is there any way to manually boot it from on board graphics? because everything i have a gpu installed, it just uses the gpu instead; and wiring is fine, my old 680 works, its just the 1070
  2. have used on board to install the driver, still black screen
  3. have used on board to install the driver, still black screen
  4. how can i install drivers, its just black screen T_T
  5. problem: no signal after installing new gpu, no post screen as well what i've tried so far: boot up via on board graphics(which works fine) boot up via old card but with new psu works fine, so its not the psu thats causing it uninstalled drivers for my gtx 680 disabled on board graphics connect via hdmi and dvi port(both doesn't work) specs: windows 10 i5 2500k(waiting for the new kaby lake) asus z68-v pro gskills 4x4gb ddr3 1600mhz asus gtx 1070 strix 240gb ssd + 2tb hdd corsair rm750x psu, also freshly installed today any help appreciated!
  6. I've just ordered an i5 and gtx 1070, I guess I will just upgrade to 1070 SLI if I need more fps for future AAAs! Thanks everyone for helping me to decide!
  7. whats bothering me the most about getting a gtx 1080 is the new titan xp, makes me really want to wait for 1080ti; by then I'm gonna say the same and wait for AMD Vega, then wait for 1180 lmao
  8. Hello everyone, my current build is i5 2500k oc'd to 4.5ghz, 16gb ram, with SLI gtx 680s, which is 3 or 4 years old now. My monitor is 1080p 144hz, which I just purchased a few month ago so I'm not looking to upgrade to 1440p 144hz any time soon. I play CS GO most of my time, it's a pretty low requirement game, and my current setup can easily pump out 144 fps on high/max settings, so here are my questions: 1. Should I upgrade my cpu? yes it's old, but it's the legendary sandy bridge and is working just fine; if I upgrade, it's gonna cost around $600(heat sink included), what kind of performance increase am I looking at, do you think it's worth it? Also, hyper threading on i7s used to be almost useless for gaming, is it worth the extra $100 now? 2. I'm upgrading the video card for sure, but should I get gtx 1070 or 1080? I'm fine with spending extra $200, but is there any point to spend the money for only a 1080p? Thanks in advance everyone!
  9. Hi, I made a post earlier saying that I'm gonna get a laptop to replace my desktop, but after seeing some reviews, I changed my mind and decided to just get a cheap laptop that can run CSGO, screw multi monitor support and 970m and the whole desktop replacement idea. So now, I'm looking for suggestions for laptops with 13 or 14" display(or think & light 15", like the Acer Aspire Nitro), i5 with some sort of decent gpu, or i5 with intel iris pro(I heard they are pretty good?), 8gb ram, at least 128gb ssd, no need for hdd, and has to be slim(under 2cm). I don't really know where to start searching since I usually only buy from MSI and Asus, but it seems like they don't have anything at this range, so any input is welcome(beside HP)! Thanks!
  10. mostly cs go, which can run on high with most mobile cards, but ill play black desert one it comes out
  11. i still dont know yet, 970m is worse than a single 770, which is far worse than 680 sli(basically 770 sli), i might have to keep both computers..
  12. hmm depends on what I get, probably selling the whole tower.
  13. I'm looking for a powerful gaming laptop thats under 15" to replace my desktop(which has 2500k, gtx 680 sli, 16gb ram), has to support 2 external 1080p monitors, and supports 2.5" ssd + hdd(which should be pretty standard?), budget is ~$15~1800USD($2000 CAD). I'm currently looking at the MSI GS40 with 970M(should be enough for CS:GO and black desert/other mmorpgs?), any other suggestions?
