yeah I was hoping not to do that, do you think a pre amp before the speakers could work?

So I for my pc becasue I don't like Itunes, vlc, etc. for playing music I have an ipod that i plug in to a Behringer xenyx502 mixer thingy. So my pc goes in to that and so does my ipod and ps4. I then have the main mix out going to a splitter connected to my speakers and my headphones. I found some speaker that used to be used for my dads record player (a 'Goodmans' thing from late 1990s) that have big speakers (8ohm impedance and 20 watts RMS) When I plug these diffrent speakers in (with my other speakers not connected) the sound is really quite even when everything is on full volume. The only reason I am doing this is I want to use these with my mixer for a party I am having and want to be able to use them. Thanks for any help.

So I want to get a cheap laptop for literally just doing word processing and powerpoints, maybe watching youtube and I don't know what too get. The HP Stream 11 really looks nice and at £150 it seems pretty good but I could get an ASUS Transformer Book T100HA for £180. Hope someone can give me pointer on which they think is better.

The cable on the cooler idk what you could do but for the PSU you could get some cardboard/card and cut and bend it so it covers the cables then paint it black and put it in the case
