  1. I think it's the V1 (sleeved cables instead of flat). Do you think that the PSU really did kill my GPU even though I wasn't stressing the system at the time? Also thanks for the suggestion.
  2. I was watching some movie on PC and suddenly it shut down (no bsod, just went black). Couldn't boot it up with the power button so I switched the plug to another outlet and does boot after that but no display. I tested by swapping the my GPU with my friend's one and my machine boots and displays fine. I even put my card in my friend's machine but no display so I figured that my GPU is dead . My GPU is a Sapphire RX470 4GB and my PSU is the Coolermaster MWE 550W Bronze. I bought my GPU 2nd hand less than 2 years ago so I wasn't sure exactly how old it is but I didn't OC it. My concern here is that when I replace the GPU, there might be a chance that PSU was the problem and kills the new GPU. Why I suspected it was the PSU is because first, I couldn't power up the machine right after the shut down using the original power outlet (the outlet works now though) and second, my PS4, which connected to the same power outlet, was also shutdown. Could it be some sort of power surges causes this? Has anyone experienced any problem with that PSU? Should I also try to replace my PSU? My PC full spec is: Ryzen 1600 Sapphire RX470 4GB CM MWE 550W Bronze Asrock AB350 Pro4 GSkill 2x4GB 2400 MHz Any help is appreciated, tia.
