  1. Kk, I tried the recovery before and that failed, does this mean I have to reformat?
  2. And after setting defaults, which turned off (PEB extreme sata)? The computer no longer posts.
  3. Ok, great But my computer is still crashing even tho the memory is now set to default values the ram speed set to 2667mhz
  4. I had manually set the default values as I could get into the bios. Its when it got the the os is when blie screens hit. I'm guessing, trying to set the memory to 4500mhz somehow corrupted the os?
  5. CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 4600 (PC4 36800) Desktop Memory Model CMW16GX4M2Z4600C18 This is the exact ram I have
  6. So I was ripped off? Then why is my computer crashing still, even though the memory is now set to default, (2667mhz) ?
  7. The psu is hours old just put in a new one, thought the same thing. Is 4500mhz to high? Shouldn't 4600mhz be able to handle 4500mhz. Also the computer is hitting bricks, even though the memory is now set to 2667 mhz. So I'm thinking its something bigger, like hardware failure.
  8. There has been multiple different stop code errors. Not sure which one is the most prevalent. This computer has my bane for months, with multiple errors and hardware deaths. Its kinda hard to pin point one issue
  9. Thanks for replying. my ram was running a base speed of 2667. This way too slow for a clu thats usually running ~4.3 ghz. Just seeting it to the xmp profile never would work. After a while the bios would report that the oc had failed and if I wanted the load previous values or defaults. So I just the ram speed to 4500mhz(the max speed supported by my mb) and the voltage to 1.450 v The computer failed to boot post or display. The debug code stuck at 24, a code found nowhere in the debug code listing within the manual. I then reset the bios by temporarily removing the battery. This restored defaults. And the computer booted to os. But the os is now very unstable hitting blue screens constantly. Usually before I can even login. I've had issues with this computer for awhile. This post is kinda a hail marry. any advice is greatly appreciated.
  10. I tried to overclock my memory. My computer wouldn't display or boot. Reset my bios. Computer then started to boot, but hits blue screens a couple seconds after booting. Specs -Intell core i5 9600k 9th gen -16 gb Coarsair 4600mhz ram vengeance pro rgb -MSI z390 MEG ACE
