Hi guys,
I have never been in any forum of any kind but I am desperate! (I am also sorry as I think this question has been asked before)
I have recently purchased ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q. After setting it up and connecting it with my other monitor (AOC AG322FCX1 AGON 31.5" 144Hz) I was testing out 240hz...Instantly had major screen flickering to the point the my PC seemed to have just given up on my ASUS monitor being a valid input and stopped putting the image out to it.
I went through all the usual steps
- checking GeForce Control Panel (changing to 240hz)
- Just using the monitor by itself
- Switching to try multiple display port cables (and different display ports on my graphics card)
I'm starting to think I spent my money on a monitor that was faulty (but would hate to take it back just to be told its fine)
Below is my specifications of my PC
CPU | Intel i9 9900k
GPU | ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080TI 11GB OC
MOBO | ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero
RAM | 16GB G. Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200
SSD | Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB
HDD | Seagate Barracuda 1TB
COOLING | NZXT Kraken X72
POWER | EVGA SuperNOVA 750W
If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
