  1. nope, apex legends is non steam game/near future steam game. And im hitting you up with my pick up line - whats ur phone number? A joke cause u resolved my issue.
  2. ok i managed to make some tweaks/optimizations to my pagefile - instead of disabling it, i manually increased the the pagefile size to match my total ram size and multiplied the maximum size by 1.5 (some suggested 1.5 or 2). No lag nor micro lag so far after optimization whose effect is exactly similar to disabled pagefile. No bad consequence. so far so good.
  3. ah i see. Thank you for your heads up.
  4. no idea. maybe some faulty unit. it shall be missed.
  5. tried but didnt work. thanks for your suggestions. almost considered amd but more leaning towards amd to match my freesync monitor. still considering until new amd/nvidia gpu come out to compare.
  6. i'm not sure about that as i simply sent my desktop for service to get mobo replaced. so i have no idea what they did from their side. and its unactivated windows 10 by the way. psu idk i just chose pc parts from big local custom build pc company. is there anything wrong with this psu? however, this lag issue has been fixed by disabling pagefile so still ruling the possibilities out of keeping pagefile disabled in the long run or any other alternatives if possible.
  7. ok so ive disabled pagefile from windows since im not sure of how to disable that in game. and it miraculously worked however im aware of the consequences of disabling it - crashing. Could i keep that way? how to disable pagefile in game without causing crash? and whats ur number? u just fixed my issue and what drive? what am i running on? but yea no hdd, only ssd.
  8. Guys, this is the first time I've ever posted which i can't get this concern off my shoulders. As you guys can see, I have been experiencing high fps lag where it sometimes micro lags at 141fps (RTSS 3 fps buffer with 144hz monitor). Sometimes silky smooth at same fps as intended. Micro lag at 144fps hence I used 3 fps buffer. When there is a small fps drop, let's say to 120fps, it gets choppier and choppier as the fps dropped further, which is not what it should be. It should still be silky smooth even at 120fps. HOWEVER, when my old motherboard asrock b450m pro4 (still new 6 months old) was fried, I replaced mobo with gigabyte b450m ds3h and the gaming experience drastically became much better. It was SO silky smooth even at 120fps, even at 90fps. HOWEVER, over time into this same new mobo (after a week), my gaming experience dropped once again and it replicated the same old laggy issue. How did this happen and how should i troubleshoot this so that i can have fun like i used to have? Here is my pc spec as below and I play Apex Legends and use g sync compatible since my monitor is freesync. Could this lag issue due to my budget pc nature? CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU ZOTAC NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER Mobo 3rd - Gigabyte B450M DS3H (current) 2nd - ASRock B450M Pro4 (fried) 1st - ASRock A320M (traded up) RAM 16 GB PSU 500W FSP/EVGA 80+ Certified Monitor PRISM+ X240 24" 144HZ
