Turns out that there was something wrong with my main monitors HDMI cable as swapping has made the problem disappear. Im not sure if its just a temporary fix though

So would my only option bo to get a new monitor? I do have a hdmi to vga adapter connected to it. Could that have anything to do with it?

I have an issue with my second monitor shutting off and turning itself back on when I drag steam or discord to it during gaming. Any help? -I've tried deleting my drivers and reinstalling them -messing around with MSI AB a bit -replugging cables -refitting the GPU the only thing that seems to work is if I unplug my second monitor. Also, there is no "No Signal" message it just goes dark for a few seconds and I hear the windows noise when a device like a USB or something is connected. Also, this issue is most common with higher end games. seeing as my monitor is old i was suspecting it was due to it overheating and shutting down but im not sure. my specs: ryzen 3 1200 gtx 1050 ti asrock ab350m pro4 16 gb ddr4 ram corsair cx450 450w OS: windows 10 pro 64 bit
