  1. Hi all, I'm at the edge of my knowledge on this and I don't know what else to do. So it thought I'd post it here and see what happens. Perhaps someone might have fix. This issue was intermittent and then it finally just stopped... Long story short, no matter what I have done, I can not get COD, either MW2 and Warzone or Cold War to launch through Battle.net. I've uninstalled and re-installed the launcher, the games, drivers, firewalls etc. I've scanned and repaired and have done a plethora of other things. I've been in contact with Activision and Battle.net support for the last 4 months and they can't figure it out. No matter what I've done, the games will not launch. With Warzone being FTP I have tried it through steam and it works just fine there. But Activision in all it's glory has the MP and Campaign content pay wall locked since I did not buy it on Steam but in Battle.net I'm happy to provide any info necessary that might help. I've attached my most recent DxDiag file and a screen shot of task manager where it shows several instances of the game running... but nothing is actually happening... Im running an intel i9 13900k, 3090ti, 128 Gb of ram... Plenty enough for COD... Thanks again in advance for the help. DxDiag.txt
  2. Hey, ok, so as a video editor by trade, and gamer by night, I’m upgrading soon and was leaning towards the R9 7950x which, in the first place, would have limited me to only ddr5 ram. However, with the recent announcement of the intel 13th Gen, 13900k, and it being cheaper, having more cores, and being backwards compatible with ddr4 ram, I’m definitely leaning more towards team blue. But that leaves me with a decision in terms of ram. I don’t know a whole lot about the ram differences other than ddr5 is just faster, so I want to ask, what is the difference between ddr4 and ddr5 in laymans terms, and working mostly with the Adobe CC, would it matter that much performance wise, if I were to save a buck and use the less expensive ddr4 memory? At first glance it doesn’t seem to me that it’s worth an extra $300 to $400. I’ll be getting 128gb, if that helps your response. Thanks!
  3. Hey all, new to iPhones here, but my text in text messages dictation and anything related to Siri isn’t working. Not sure what else to do. I reset network settings, turned siri off and on again, made sure there were not restrictions or anything… but the microphone in the bottom right hand corner of the keyboard just does endless blue Circle and Siri, when i ask it something doesn’t do anything but says, “working on it.”
  4. I’ve had similar issues. With a my Wi-Fi routers in the past some fixes that have helped me are: A. Update routers firmware to newest firmware available. B. Switch to an older firmware, sometimes the new ones create bugs that limit speeds. C. Make sure the ethernet cable you’re using to connect the router to modem, is inserted in the correct port on your modem. (Easy mistake) D. Maybe look at a range extender for the Wi-Fi. Going through certain building materials between floors can hinder some connections more than others. An amplifier might remedy this. I hope these help. May not be solid solutions, but are things that have helped me in the past.
  5. Just wanted to see what people thought and speculated in terms of taming the heat output of the new upcoming Ryzen 9 CPUs. I think I’m gonna be upgrading to the 7950x personally, and am wondering whether Air Cooling or AIO would be best. With a high boost clock of 5.7ghz, I can only imagine that this thing will be generating heat like crazy. What are your thoughts? Do you think coolers will be redesigned at all for these new CPUs? Will Noctua NH-D15s be sufficient for air cooling? Are AIOs gonna be the better choice for those who don’t want to fool with custom loop water cooling?
  6. Ok wow, thanks all. First of all I knew about the new RTX Gfx cards being announced soon but i must live under a rock as I didn't even realize the the Ryzen 7000 were arriving literally later this month. Whew, ok, well i was planning on waiting for the November sales to come anyways, but now I'm for sure waiting to buy anything to see the new Ryzen processors. With the new pieces coming out and being a bit more expensive, I'm now leaning more towards a stealth look, not as much RGB and doing air cooling. At the $500 price point, the 7900x might also be more compelling. Am I also correct in thinking that the current rtx 3000 cards will be a little faster with the am5 chips since they would be supportive of the PCIe 5.0 lanes? Or will that just be an improvement for PCIe storage devices?
  7. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly creative programs for work with the perk of gaming. Hi all, I'm video editor by trade and my employer has given me the green light in upgrading my system to better serve me. I last upgraded my system a few years ago and thus, I am a bit out of touch with the current top tier items and their requirements. I have done some research and know what I want part wise, but I need some assistance when it comes to adequate cooling and power delivery. My proposed build is as follows: CPU: Ryzen 9 5950x = $500 GPU: MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti 24GB = $1079 Memory: 128GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro @ 3200 Mhz = $409 Mobo: Asus AM4 Tuf X570 Plus = $198 I have M.2s and HDD and SSDs that will be carried over from my current system. So now my questions. Would air Cooling or AIO cooling be better for the CPU in terms of heat? Could I get away with a Noctua NH-D15 for $100 or Would it be better to look at something like a corsair H115i pro or perhaps a triple rad AIO? I love Seasonic and Corsair PSUs but would a corsair HX1200w or Seasonic 1300w prime be better for me? Whats the main difference between Win 11 home and Pro? Lastly, I'm leaning heavily towards a corsair 5000D or 5000x case. mostly because of the potential of having a corsair AIO and the RGB aspects would work together rather nicely. But didn't know if you perhaps had an other case suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  8. Update, I factory reset and all seems to be back to normal... Yay! Thanks! hmmm... Maybe we should try this methodology with the US Government? Nope, nvm I did not just say that....
  9. is there Factory reset button on the router itself or should i try to find that through the IP address web page?
  10. I tried multiple other cables between modem and router and was getting same bad results.
  11. Ok, Hi. I have a Netgear R6700 v3 router. I am paying spectrum for a 400mbps speed. With that being said, when going through the router I am only getting at most, 150mbps. In troubleshooting I discovered that bypassing the router and connecting my PC through ethernet straight to the modem gives me the 400mbps speeds that I want, thus telling me that its the router. To confirm this theory, I also did a few speed tests on my router itself and it was only receiving 150mbps. So now I know it is for certain the router. I am currently on firmware version 1.0.4.102. As another forum post suggested, I rolled back my router firmware to 1.0.3.66 and when doing that it gave speeds of up to 350mbps. Telling me it was the firmware. I was happy with that last night and logged off. Today, to test things to double check my handy work, I ran a speed test and got a wopping.... 0.93 Mbps... In shock, I ran it again... 0.98Mbps... You must be joking. I updated firmware to latest version again and now its coming in clutch with 70Mbps... Please help. I'm so confused... Is it firm ware? Is it my settings? Do I need a switch? a new router? I dunno... I need a cookie, that's what I need.
  12. I have a Ryzen 3700x and am currently using the prism stock cooler. Was then just looking for recommendations for AIO upgrades.
  13. I think you miss read my intial post, The 30mbs (30,000kbs) is what go for when recording only. Not streaming. The stream is as you mentioned, 9 to 12mbs, for when I stream 1080p at 60fps. let me ask this, would it be better to stream, (1080p @ 60fps) using a bitrate of 9mbs with a "faster" or "very fast" CPU preset, or stream at 6mbs using "fast" or "Medium" ?
  14. I appreciate the response. Hmm, I hadn't thought about inquiring about just an upload upgrade if there is such a thing. I'm stuck with one provider though as I'm in an apartment complex that only supports the one provider.
  15. Hey there, First of all I apologize if this is the wrong thread for this topic but I wasn't really sure where else to post it. Alright, short of the long of it is that I enjoy playing games like Warzone and I also enjoy making Warzone and MW videos for YouTube. Recently however, IRL things keep me from being able to plan out write and edit videos that I record, so I decided I wanted to start streaming on YouTube whenever it is that played. I want to stream at 1440p @ 60fps. I love that clarity and smoothness That I see some of the big streamers achieving. I'm currently running a Ryzen 3700x, an AMD rx 5700 xt GPU, and 64GB of Ram and an internet connection speed of 400mbs down, 23mbs up. I play on 1440p monitor and 144hz; I record my game play using stream labs at 1080p, 60fps, at a bit rate of about 30mbs and have very little to no issues. I stream to my YouTube channel at 1080p 60fps at 9 - 12mbs and accrue some issues such as dropped frames. When I try 1440p at 60fps at the YouTube recommended range of 10 - 18mbs, I have quite a few dropped frames. Now streamlabs doesn't really say what the issue is, but I am assuming its my internet and not my hardware (please tell me if I'm wrong)... I have the option to upgrade to a 940 down and 40 up internet connection, but before I started paying for the internet upgrade I wanted some other opinions as to what might be causing my dropped frames while streaming... Do you agree with me that It's my internet, do you suggest getting the upgrade in service to stream at 1440p? Is it even worth trying to stream at 1440p? Should I upgrade the internet and stream 1080p 60fps at a faster bit rate? I feel like most people will watch at 1080p anyways What settings in stream-labs do you suggest to get the best quality to a 1080p 60fps stream with my current build? Should I put it on a slow, medium, fast, or faster preset and at what bitrate? Is it even worth trying stream 1080p at 60fps at any higher of a bit rate than 6 to 9mbs.... I have heard streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube limit streaming bit rate in favor of partners... I'm just a small little guy doing it on the side for fun, Ha. Thanks in advance for the help.
