  3. @LienusLateTips @Saksham *facepalm. I feel stupid now. Thanks guys! Obviously a noob.
  4. I recently bought this case and was going over it and noticed the led button has a sata connector coming from it. But i also have led power leads. Im just curious if it is necessary or for a controller of some kind. My b550f doent have a sata header to match. I dont care that much about the leds but would be nice to have. Thankyou for any help!
  5. @zeusthemoose @Avocheeseadothese are whats in stock and wont take until next month to get to me. I was able to cancel the other parts as they had not shipped yet. The crucial p1 was out of stock till the 16, and this Psu is one of the few in stock corsairs i could find. As far as the case, if i need to, i have the tools to make it have better ventilation. And the ram ill live with. Also is it a bad idea to store stuff on hdds and Just replace it when full? (Like swap to whatever hdd has the game i want and save it to the ssd to play. Then if im not gunna play it for awhile move it back to the hdd.) I really do appreciate your help! And will be reading other topics when i get to the point of booting it up and installing an os. And eventually overclocking when i get a better than stock cooler. hopefully yall approve of my new choices. And thankyou again!
  6. @zeusthemoose i understand with the power supply. Id like to stick to 700w just because i want to. And understand getting a better one. whats the reason for larger ssd? How much does the brand matter? reason for different ram? Thankyou!
  7. Budget (including currency): $1,500USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, Streaming, Photo/Video editing, basic 3d modeling. I have On the way, a 700w psu, an MSI geforce 1660 super, a Samsung 970 EVO plus 250gb ssd, a seagate barracuda 500gb hdd, and 16gb (2x8) of Corsair DDR4 ram. Im not going to be playing many fps games. Mostly simulators, city builders, and survival games. Is this over kill? Anything im missing? Anything i need to think about? Im literally a total noob. Watched plenty of videos on Linus Tech Tips but i have a hard time filtering/retaining information. Thankyou to any information you may have on my situation. (P.S. when i say noob i mean noob, i understand mechanical aspects, like this sends a signal here and it does this. But the programing and software stuff im just starting to learn.
