So yesterday I woke up to find that my pc wouldn’t turn on. I tried everything I could think of. I unplugged the gpu in case it was dead, I restarted cmos, I made sure all the cables were plugged in properly and replugged them all. Still it wouldn’t work. So then I tried the paperclip test to try to short it to turn on, which failed. Then I tried using the paperclip in the 32 pin connecting the green and inner black to test the psu, and it worked, the fans and everything turned on. The only things that wouldn’t work were things connected to the motherboard. So I assumed it was fried and got a new one. I just installed it, and the pc still won’t turn on. At this point my only idea is that somehow the power cable for the motherboard is broken or something, but I don’t even have a replacement nor do I know how to replace it, and I don’t even know for sure that’s the issue. I have classes and I need my computer. Please can someone help me?
