  1. The psu powers everything except for the board, which is weird. Idk how this could happen just overnight, the cable break, when I didn’t do anything that would cause it to. But then again it’s the only thing I can think of. Is there a way to test to see if it’s really the issue? I don’t want to replace it for nothing like I did with the board.
  2. Okay, so how found I fix it if that’s the case?
  3. So yesterday I woke up to find that my pc wouldn’t turn on. I tried everything I could think of. I unplugged the gpu in case it was dead, I restarted cmos, I made sure all the cables were plugged in properly and replugged them all. Still it wouldn’t work. So then I tried the paperclip test to try to short it to turn on, which failed. Then I tried using the paperclip in the 32 pin connecting the green and inner black to test the psu, and it worked, the fans and everything turned on. The only things that wouldn’t work were things connected to the motherboard. So I assumed it was fried and got a new one. I just installed it, and the pc still won’t turn on. At this point my only idea is that somehow the power cable for the motherboard is broken or something, but I don’t even have a replacement nor do I know how to replace it, and I don’t even know for sure that’s the issue. I have classes and I need my computer. Please can someone help me?
  4. I tried that, it didn’t work. I connected the two pins via a screwdriver, and still nothing.
  5. I unplugged and disconnected the gpu, still won’t turn on. I also tried everything BlazerBuddy mentioned. Still won’t turn on.
  6. This has never happened to me before. I hit the power button, and the pc just doesn’t turn on. No lights or anything. I’ve unplugged it countless times, made sure everything is connected properly, checked that the socket it’s plugged into works, which it does. I’m at a loss here, I have no idea what the problem is. I’ve checked all the connections, and there’s nothing unplugged or damaged. Can anyone help me please?
  7. All I can find about RPM is “CPU Optional Fan Speed” which says it’s set to 2596 RPM.
  8. I just got a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and after installing it, I can’t turn on my computer. Whenever I turn it on, I see the image I have attached here. When I press F1 I get menus about system settings and whatnot. The issue is, I’ve spent the last 3-4 hours verifying everything is plugged in correctly, and I’ve even unplugged and replugged everything in my motherboard. It still says there’s a CPU Fan error. My CPU is at a temp of 56c so the fan is obviously working fine. Is there a way I can override this bios thing so I can actually use this new CPU? I’m really struggling here. Thanks to anyone who helps.
  9. Here’s the best picture I can get of it. The CPU is seared correctly, the issue is that the screws on the fan refuse to go down. They turn, but don’t actually screw in.
  10. I just got a new B550-F WiFi 6 motherboard and a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and for some reason the screws on the Wraith Stealth Cooling Fan won’t reach the screwholes on the motherboard. Everyone I talked to at the store told me they were easily compatible and I even got them together in a bundle, so I’m not quite sure the issue. The screws refuse to move down. Can anyone help me get out please? Thanks.
