  1. I use WSL so it is required to enable which I used to have before everything. I was trying to get ryzen master working earlier this week prior to all of this. The recovery point was at a point when I had it disabled. I have access to it via another hard drive with opensuse installed, but I think I going to go ahead with a reformat.
  2. Hrmm.. so I went to enable SVM on the bios and now I cannot start up windows, I am getting BSOD Bad config file. Turning SVM off doesn't do anything. I cannot boot into safe mode, I cannot system restore, I cannot system reset.
  3. Hitting 200+ FPS and butter smooth mouse movement. My only concern is if I should go ahead and update my chipset drivers, as my bios is still updated.
  4. Well the System Restore seems to of worked. About to test the CSGO. They really don't do a good job of telling you that during a system restore that you will sit at a black screen for a long time.
  5. I mean at that point what is the worst that could happen, I would have to do another factory reset.
  6. The question is though, should I try and do a full factory reset with the extra RAM inserted That is the RAM compatibility page for the MB. Just do Cltr F for GFX and the 32 GB 8 stick config is supported https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC#support-mem-14
  7. Yeah the old memory has not been touched, just got another BSOD page fault error, so I am giving the restore one last shot, going to put on a movie and just let it run. If it doesn't workout by the time the movie is over I am going to do a full factory reset.
  8. Scan Completed and Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
  9. The system Restore Point could not complete was the message. I am not sure if I did it wrong. It ran for 30 minutes, then the displays went out, I waited 10 minutes, lights were still on and fans still running, it was at that point I held down the power button. Running sfc /scannow currently at 70%.
  10. The system restore failed, I might try a different point. I went and updated the chipset drivers again. As reference from my Radeon Software manager, I have Rainbow Six Siege Which ran on July 26th, 2020 at 132 Average Frames Per Second. According to Radeon my Average FPS of CSGO is 93 Now.
  11. I spent a week looking up various RAM kits when building the PC, making sure on both the motherboard and memory manufacturer had it listed on both. It should be there, also with a 3200MHz 32gb (4x8gb) kit listed from the same manufacturer and identical timings, spec just with GFZ I think. Will link some screenshots when my computer gets back and running, looking up ram on a phone isn't easy.
  12. I'll check some other games as well, I am not sure if I have any that can give a clear benchmark, I play it a lot, so I am familiar with how it should feel. I have Rust which was always laggy, cs1.6 and source.
  13. Yeah, right now I went and took out the extra sticks, however still getting choppy performance on CSGO, so I am doing a windows system restore to earlier this week. I think I may still have issues, so after the restore is complete I am going to update the chipset driver from MSI
  14. I built a computer in January 2018 with a B450 Motherboard, Ryzen 2700x, 16gb 3200MHz Ram, RX580 Graphics card (Exact System Specs Below) and decided to upgrade my RAM. I am now unable to get it working at the 3200MHz speed without running into BSOD Issues. I wanted to be able to get into some software development, and always wanted to upgrade my RAM and I thought now would be a good time to upgrade, especially if I can get the same RAM Brand and Specs from my original build. I received the 16gb (2x8gb) on Friday and went and installed it into my computer. After starting up the computer it was perfect, running perfectly. I went ahead and did a couple other installations of programs (Wireshark) and had to restart my computer. After restarting I noticed that my RAM had changed to 1866Mhz in the task manager. So I went and tried changing settings in the BIOs. However it seemed (or at least I thought at the time) Ryzen Master was overtaking the BIOs settings, as I had A-XMP turned on and set to 3200MHz. I updated my Chipset Driver, Uninstalled Ryzen Master, and was able to get the BIOs to try and run it at 3200MHz. However, I started getting BSOD Errors, so I did CMOS Reset the Bios, Updated the BIOs, Ran Memtest64+, Disabled Drive Caching. I tried to tune down the RAM, and that was able to make it stable, however I was getting 45 FPS in Counterstrike Global Offensive. So something seems off. I turned off the A-XMP in the Bios and have it back to Auto for everything related to RAM. At this point I am out of ideas on how to resolve. Everything on the computer seems very slow/sluggish right now. Full System Specs as Promised.
