Hello, I'm currently building this and absolutely nothing happens when I press the power button.
Things I tried:
- paper clip test on 24 pin power connector, this made the PSU fan spin
- removed one ram stick
- disconnected case fan
- removed GPU and network card
- disconnected case power cable (the one with just 2 pins) and tried touching the corresponding pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver
- tried a very old PSU and got the same result. Except that this older PSU had a "self test" button which made all 3 fans spin and lit up the motherboard and case lights, not sure what this means.
- took the motherboard out of the case, same thing
Basically the problem seems to either come from the case power button/cable or the JFP1 pins on the motherboard and I need to know which one is the problem so I can return it.
From what I've seen most similar problems come from people putting the power switch on the wrong pins but I'm pretty sure I did it right. Also included pictures.
