  1. Alright I'm not really into overclocking I was just messing around. I think I'm going to just leave this thing at stock power for now. Obviously Hyper 212 isn't enough to handle that kind of stress on this chip. Maybe I'll upgrade my cooler later but running at stock power limits it seems everything runs fine.
  2. I think I'm just being paranoid but... I bought an i7-10700, Hyper 212 EVO and ASUS Z490-P and turned on MCE to remove power limits and then ran OCCT (AVX2) the temp eventually hit somewhere around 90-92 and after about 10 seconds or so of that I started to get uncomfortable with it being that hot and stopped the test. I think the CPU voltage went up to around 1.33v. Then I started seeing people saying that running CPUs over 80C is damaging the CPU. But Intel says it's unlikely that a CPU will be damaged by overheating. Not sure what to believe. Did I damage my CPU in any appreciable way?
