Hi there!
First post on here, I think - hope it makes sense (not my primary language)
1. My current Wi-Fi setup is a Google Nest (GN) with one GN router, and two GN Wi-Fi points.
Short story long, since I have copper cables (reeeaaallyy slow) and not fiber, I would really like to connect a sim modem to the GN wifi, so I don’t use the copper cables in the streets, but have a 4G connection and sent that through the GN wifi points.
Do I “just” connect the sim modem to the wall via Ethernet, and then connect my modem to the GN router, or how would I do this?
2. Another question - would it be possible to connect a local NAS-server, fx. A Synology NAS, to either the sim modem or the GN router?
If possible, could I have the server automatically take backups of computers (primarily MacBooks, but also Windows machines), every week or so, when connected to the Wi-Fi?
In advance, thank you very much!
Best regards,
Sebastian
