  1. Hi there! First post on here, I think - hope it makes sense (not my primary language) 1. My current Wi-Fi setup is a Google Nest (GN) with one GN router, and two GN Wi-Fi points. Short story long, since I have copper cables (reeeaaallyy slow) and not fiber, I would really like to connect a sim modem to the GN wifi, so I don’t use the copper cables in the streets, but have a 4G connection and sent that through the GN wifi points. Do I “just” connect the sim modem to the wall via Ethernet, and then connect my modem to the GN router, or how would I do this? 2. Another question - would it be possible to connect a local NAS-server, fx. A Synology NAS, to either the sim modem or the GN router? If possible, could I have the server automatically take backups of computers (primarily MacBooks, but also Windows machines), every week or so, when connected to the Wi-Fi? In advance, thank you very much! Best regards, Sebastian
  2. Yeah i get that but my main focus is upgrading the motherboard - probably didn't make that very clear.. - so i could upgrade different things, such as ram, cpu and storage, as time goes passes.
  3. Yes it's being used for gaming and I'm not planning on buying anything before july 2021, I just want to know a bit more about what to buy when that time comes. Any software you recommend for overclocking? My best bet is afterburner, but I don't know anything compared to you guys Thank you for your reply!
  4. Hey Folks! Sorry for my english, I'm Danish.. My current pc: Ram: 16gb of 2133mhz ddr3 Mb: MSI Z97 PC Mate(MS-7850)(1.0) CPU: I7-4790k 4.00Ghz GPU: Geforce GTX 980 I want to get a set of 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram (this one: https://bit.ly/2H5RrTJ), but that is not possible with my current motherboard. The problem is that if I get new ram i have to get a new cpu and motherboard but i don't know what to get. I need CPU that has quite the same performance as my present CPU - i don't have a lot of money - and a motherboard that supports the rest. As said in the title, im a noob and that why I really need your help. In advance, thank you very much. Best regards Sebastian Høilund
  5. Yeah i was messing around, and forgot to delete the fans again I will wait and see, and change the GPU. Thank you very much
  6. Disclaimer: Sorry for spelling/grammar mistakes. English isn't my primary language. Country: I live in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark. Will be used for: The machine will primarily be used for gaming and school work. I play a lot of rust and Grand Theft Auto. Hi! When I started learning about computers, I got into the Intel and GeForce world real quick, and was never very interested, in Amd - that was when Intel and Geforce overall were better than Amds CPUs and GPUs. I still don't know anything about amds stuff, but heard from a lot of people, Linus, that amd is beginning to be a very good bang for the buck. Anyway; so i build this pc (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9pNzJb) on PcPartPicker and was wondering if you guys could tell me if there was anything i have done wrong, something i can do better or something that doesn't need to be that good. In advance thank you! Best regards, Sebastian
