Looking for a 27 inch or bigger screen that I can do my color grading on for my projects, budget is around $1000(CAD). Dont know that much about monitors so any help would be nice!

Okay so i plugged a chromebook into the monitor and it worked. still no signal on the pc. The board has hdmi 1.4 while the monitor has 2.0. I don't think the chromebook would have 2.0 but it might (the model is 11 3189) So the cable and monitor is fine.

I got a new monitor acer today (model num #VG240Y) and when i plugged it into my motherboard's hdmi slot it just says "no signal detected" (motherboard is a PRIME A320M-K) I am using my VGA LG monitor while i try and troubleshoot, I have tried updating my display drivers. I have all the peripherals i need so just the pc (part list) is needed
