  1. I've had somewhat unacceptable latency for quite sometime. I've recently learned about buffer bloat, and if DSLreports are to be believed, that's accounting for more than 50% of my latency. From what I understand, SQM/AQM/QoS is the best way to mitigate bloat. I've found a general recommendation for the ubiquity edgerouter 4. I assume I'll also need a switch and an access point to attain the same level of functionality as my ISP assigned AIO unit, (possibly even a better modem to avoid bottlenecking?) This is where my knowledge on this subject ends. I'm not sure if the er4 is the best router for me, or what I'm even looking for in a switch/access point/modem. I'm on a 400Mbps connection, but I could live with 200ish if that's going to cut my latency down.
