I’m in the same dilema I’m gonna put together my pc with a Ryzen 9 3900x and attach a gtx 1660 super until the new rtx 3000 series comes out although, I’m gonna wait until the end of the month since there are no Gpu s available on Amazon until the 20 + august so, I recommend you do the same. Use a cheapo gpu or just wait like me.

hello bmx and thanks for you reply, one more question, about the cpu, psu, and storage. CPU: i plan to use it to edit video later on, would the 3700x would be enought? i want something to stay good enough for a good 5 years. would you still go with the 3700x? PSU: how do you determine the overhead you need in terms of wattage, according to new egg calculator the system will consume 480w but the guys on LTT say to overreach a little, so is 500 enough ? storage : last question in terms of speed just for the system, can i combine the p1 and the samsung 970? (btw i have an ssd 1tb samsung that im gonna port from my old dead laptop) thanks for the help and sorry for the question, but as i mentioned before is my first time and there are so many things i still have trouble understanding. and as i mentioned before not an option to get it build here (Bolivia) since its a ripoff. Hey guys, its my first time building a PC. I live in Bolivia and parts here are extremely expensive so i decided to buy everything from amazon and a friend of mine is gonna bring em for me from the states, now i need to be sure that the parts are compatible and that the pc will work once i put it togetter, and since the parts are coming from abroad there is no way to return them if i mess up chossing the right parts. i would like you all to help me, just to make sure the parts are compatible, and hear yall's opinion about this set up and if you think that there is a better option for the setup i would gladly listen and make the necesary changes so i can build a good PC. thanks alot.
