  1. As long as it doesn't cut through any traces on the PCB, it would be fine. It could cause issues with your mobo pci-e connector, but I doubt it.
  2. 700 series just got killed, 980Ti is next
  3. Thanks for your opinion, Maybe I should wait a while longer
  4. Budget (including currency): £1200 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA titles, 2019-2020, Cyberpunk, etc.. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Resolution: 1080p, but 1440p would be nice I'm going to buy the listed parts* by Christmas. Current setup (Old rig from 2013) i7-3970X, 4.2GHz Sabertooth X79 64GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz GTX 780Ti SLI (Palit super jetstream 6gb) Corsair RM650 (Old one failed, so I copped a new PSU.) --I do have a spare GTX 1070 laying around, But it would bottle neck my current CPU at 1440p. I am not sure about the GPU though, any recommendations? In the UK, the prices are very high due to COVID, So I need something reasonable. Should I use my existing PSU, or would it not be enough for my parts? And would it be able to play AAA games at 1440p with reasonable frame rates?
