  1. Thanks TofuHaroto for the input. Yeah if I were to go for the ampere and big navi, I might find all the excuses to switch up my rig alot which will pretty much end up building from scratch. Currently my rig is in a mini tower case from Bitfenix so already pushing the two 980s makes it a portable heater lol.
  2. Hi everyone, I currently have a set up of i7-4790K + GTX 980 in 2-way SLI, on a 21:9 1440p ASUS ultrawide (G-Sync, 100Hz). This rig is about ~5 years old. I thought about building a new PC once the new RTX 30xx line ups are released but instead of dishing out more dough for new gear, I thought I'd just do an upgrade on my GPUs... The current setup with the two GTX 980s just isn't adequate to push a stable fps of 80-100ish on my ultrawide, so I am thinking of replacing my 980s with the RTX 2080 Super. Would you guys think that jumping from two 980s to one 2080 Super is a decent upgrade to fully utilize the 1440p ultrawide at 100Hz with Medium to High graphics settings on somewhat of recent titles like COD:MW/Warzone, AC Odyssey, BFV, and Death Stranding? I don't own AC Odyssey, BFV, nor Death Stranding on PC so I'm not sure how crap-tastic it runs on my current setup. Been kind of replaying some old titles until somewhat recently when I played Warzone on native res, it was hovering around 38-46fps... which kinda made me want to do a modest(?) upgrade to last me for the next year or two. Let me know what are your opinions. Thanks in advance
