  1. I am having the worst week I can remember. PC Build 1 that I have been using for 2 years (with some upgrades between) CPU: Ryzen 9 3950X RAM: 128gb Gkill Ripjaws 3600mhz GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Ventus MB: Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master SSD: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro HDD: 4tb PSU: BeQuiet Dark Power 1000W Was happily playing my csgo and the pc crashed (it had happened before, but never bothered me that much), since then never turned on again. After checking all the leds and code errors on my motherboard, internet told me cpu might be dead. Ok, fair enough. Went to buy a new CPU AND MB Build 2: i7 11700k Asrock Z590 Taichi 16gb ram Gskill Trident z 3400mhz 2tb sabrent ssd corsair psu 750w gtx 1060 Guess what. The 2nd pc I build KEPT GIVING ME BLUE SCREENS ! I tried to move parts around and mix-match stuff. Nothing. And now, When I took the 3080 from the first build and replaced it with a 1060 it worked, for 2 minutes after boot. Then it crashes, and it does that all the time. its really frustrated and I am ready to go buy a stupid gaming laptop and call it a day.
  2. One last question: The Motherboard I am planning on get have 8+8 cpu pins. Do I still only need to use 1 8pin connector or for a beffier mb I need both 8+8?
  3. You're all awesome. Right now I am running a Be Quiet Straight Power 600. By all that I think I will just unplug the 4 pin and call it a day. I am not overclocking so I guess it doesn't matter.
  4. I just upgraded to a 3950X and I am using a molex adapter to 4-pin because my PSU only have regular 8-pin. Is it ok to keep using it like that ? Or should I really just get a new PSU to avoid any kind of problems. Thank you !!
