  1. There is a GL753VE disassembly guide that's exactly my model just outside shell different, I don't know if they're just showing how to remove everything, but the last thing removed is CMOS and they remove everything else first
  2. So the thing is that I know where it is in my model, it's on the back of the board, However to reach it I'd have to remove all of the components, I don't really feel comfortable doing that, if it's the only solution, I will do it.
  3. I have changed my hard drive cause It was too full of things I REALLY needed, and now my boot options are completely screwed. If I restore to defaults, nothing, if I try to delete a boot option, I get a window popping up with the boot option to remove, and enough empty space for two options (which I would assume are residues of my old dualboot of Manjaro and Windows (all gone)), if I try to boot straight into something same thing, if I want to change my boot order, I see "Manjaro-Windows-ubuntu" (I had Ubuntu and replaced it's partition with manjaro and I think it left a residue), and none of them boot, Ubuntu and windows aren't there, and If I try to boot to manjaro it attempts to access a non present drive, and fails. My laptop is an Asus GL753VD (GL753VE from what I understand is an older version but inner workings are equal, it's the only one I can find online, my specific model isn't there.) and I'm trying to run Manjaro Ninja, which I just installed with my usb, but that doesnt boot.
  4. Hello, I have been trying lately to restore an old pc I had, and I did the mistake of mounting my motherboard without an io shield, I wanted to test if it would work, It did turn on so I tried to plug my monitor in and I had very very tiny sparks on the metal parts of the ends of the vga cable* *If i plugged my monitor first, the end i was going to connect to the computer would spark and vice versa. The monitor is fine, I don't know about the cable as that cable was a little damaged and would only work if bent a little, Using another cable, the monitor still works on another computer. Did i manage to short my motherboard/video outputs like that? / my cable
  5. I'm working on a project and i need to have a box where you can put in someone's name and it'll parse out their steamid64, how can i do this without spending money for the steam api?
