My microphone is being registered in windows, but for some reason it won't pick up any audio. I've tried both my audio technica ATR2500, and my headset mic. This has happened 3 times now and both times before updating windows 7 has fixed it, but now I have no more updates left

I did check volume levels on everything. I opened device manager and it said drivers were up to date, but I'll check with 3dpchip as well

So last night I bought the hunter call of the wild and it wasn't launching, so I updated my graphics driver and installed somewhere around 180 updates for windows and when I finally got the game to launch no audio came through my speakers or my headphones. I can open sound options in my control panel and see the speakers and when I set it to default it shows on the meter that audio is playing, but no sound actually comes through. Same with my headphones. The only thing that works is the built in speaker on my monitor. Specs : windows 7 64bit Amd fx6300, Asus m5a97 le r2.0 mobo, gtx 980ti, 8gb ram, 750w cooler master psu, 64gb ssd boot drive, 2tb wd green hdd, 1tb Hitachi hdd. Thanks in advance for any help but I'm at work till about 5, so I won't be able to try any fixes until then.

Do you still have the disc that came with it? if so use that until you can get the latest from the website.

OK, thanks I'm probably getting it for Christmas so I won't be buying, I also don't know how to make one, but do are there any brands to stay away from on the sub or amp side? I've heard Boss is really cheap.

I want to get a subwoofer to put in my car. I want a dual 10 or 12 inch with a voice coil for approximately 200 dollars. I want with the subs already installed in the box. Can yall help me out?

I went through the setup process again and it got it working.

I have everything hooked up correctly, nothing about my setup has changed since I orginally hooked it up. The only thing ive done thus far is swap the router with a new one

When I plug my computer into my router there is no internet access, but whenever I hook directly into the modem I have internet access. I just went out and bought a new router and the same thing is still happening. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem here?

I have been looking at getting some speakers lately, and I really only want to spend about $100. If someone could help me out with a few suggestions or let me know about the GX Genius gaming speakers it would be much appreciated! I really do want a subwoofer and I don't really want anymore than 2 actual speakers.

I've noticed the same thing! All my local stores, I live in Pensacola, have really shit products. Office depot is a fantastic example, it has a lot of different products, but they're all really low end, or from shoddy manufacturers.
