  1. I got a new case and moved all of my components to it from an old dell prebuilt inspiron. After doing so the pc does not post. Specs of the system: i7 4790 8gb of green pcb ddr3 ram (2x4) dell 300w psu dell motherboard (cant find the model) EVGA gtx 1050ti some firewire expantion card one 1tb hdd 1 500gb hdd (both segate) Sandisk 256gb sata ssd (boot drive) All the components were fully functional (and probably still are as I was really careful not to damage anything) What I have already attempted to do to fix this problem: Booting without the gpu and using igpu via vga for display output Unplugging all the storage and attempting to at least boot into bios taking out all the ram and only plugging one ram module back in checking if all the power cables are properly plugged in. resetting bios settings by taking out the battery taking out the motherboard and psu from the case and booting on a wooden table. None of the above worked to post and at least get into the bios. everything I tried will not even give a display output but the cpu and psu fans did spin. Sadly I do not have a speaker on the motherboard to find any error codes. If further information is needed about specs I will try my best to respond quickly. Also the dell service tag for the prebuilt is: 9h9qdz1
