I was forced to update my driver yesterday because it made my entire computer green screen then said it had to do with the graphics driver. The issue is after I updated the graphic drivers my pc gets a lot slower than it used to be. Like it freezes when I open a chrome tab! Or if I drag discord to my second monitor the pc freezes! Please help this is really annoying and I don’t know what to do.

It could potentially be that I’ve switched from a nvidia gpu to an amd one.

I'm looking to upgrade my monitor to a 1440p 144hz display for black friday but some people are saying that a 1060 is not enough power for a 1440p? Is this true?

I'm making a new build with a ryzen 7 3700x and I already have the G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 mhz and im wondering is this enough to for that cpu? and how many watts of voltage does the cpu take since im using a EVGA 500 watt 80+ bronze power supply with a gtx 1060 6gb?

How much faster is it really though? That's what really matters to me since I have really good download speeds just that I use a hard drive to download games since my ssd is only for booting and only has 240 gb of storage.

I save a few bucks on a little better performance I think? If im wrong please explain why. I might consider nvme since its only a few more bucks than the ssd.

I have the graphics card already so no going back now but the motherboard, cpu, ram and ssd are the only ones im actually going to buy. My psu is a 500 watt EVGA 80+ bronze. The case is a Cooler Master MasterBox NR600 ATX Mid-Tower with Front Mesh Ventilation, Minimal Design, Tempered Glass Side Panel and Single Headset Jack.

Well as you know the GPU market is at its worst time possible rn for purchasing any new graphics cards and I already have the GPU because I got it for $150 brand new! Really good deal nowadays and it works perfectly. The only actual new parts are the motherboard, CPU, ram and ssd.

This system will be used for mostly just gaming and a bit of streaming aswell. So, i'm rocking an old Dell Optiplex 390 Motherboard from some office pc I got for 100 dollars now its been a few years and I've slowly upgraded my ram to 16 gigs, gpu to 1060 6gb, and have gotten a new case with some nice RBG fans. Issue now is that I dont think my motherboard will support any i5 cpus that are above 3rd or fourth generation so can anyone help me aquire the proper motherboard for my new cpu that im planning to buy a i5 10400. Alright but what PSU should I use for my build? I know atleast 80+ Bronze is recommended since anything lower than that could short circuit my pc.
