  1. Hey everyone, My girlfriend has been getting a lot of crashes in Overwatch for about the last 6 months. We have tried a lot of things to try to fix the issue: She tried to reinstall the game and Battle.Net client multiple times She used the scan & repair tool in the blizzard client She updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10 (clean install, no other files on the pc besides Battle.Net, Overwatch and GPU drivers). She tried changing settings ingame. She tried switching to the Americas region. She closed other open programs that were open in the background. She launched Overwatch as an Administrator. She updated the drivers. She rebooted the internet and pc multiple times. None of these methods fixed the issue in the slightest. The crashes are completely random, it can happen after 3 games, not at all for an entire day or even multiple times per game. The crash closes the game (it's like when you press Alt+F4, it's instant) and never gives any error message. After the crash happens she's able to log back into the game instantly again without any problems. Any other applications that are connected to the internet (for example the discord call that we're in) don't disconnect or crash when the crashes happen. I'm quite sure it's not an internet issue, she doesn't rubber-band at all in the game and the ping is usually quite low. When crashes happen she's able to get back into the game instantly and she's still connected to internet required applications during the crash (like the discord call). We've also done some tests for CPU and GPU temperatures, the CPU temperatures will max get to around 60 degrees Celsius on a hot day and the GPU temperatures get to around 70 degrees Celsius max. Besides temperatures tests we've also done a WinMTR test to see if any packet loss occurred during the crash. We couldn't see any in the result. Yesterday she ran the Windows memory diagnostic test on her pc and there were no issues found with the RAM. Even though we are able to get back into the game rather quickly, it's still very annoying when it happens. Especially when it happens in a Competitive game. There have been no problems with any other games, only Overwatch crashes a lot. I hope someone has a solution for this problem or at least anything to try. We've tried so many things already and we really don't know anything else to try. Blizzard support also wasn't helpful with this, they told us to get the pc checked out at a local tech store. But atm that's not quite possible with her current money situation.
