I can only think of two other things, both of which I'm reluctant to suggest. Firstly, it could be a corrupted user profile, there are ways to fix this but having never done it myself I'm reluctant to suggest it. However if you just google corrupted user profile, it will bring up a guide I'm sure. Secondly, could simply reinstall windows, but that is a pain in the rear and I never like to suggest it. hopefully someone else knows of an easier solution.

Have you tried booting into safe mode and restarting from there? May be an issue with an update or something along those lines.

May seem completely unrelated, but have you checked that RAM is properly seated? Also does it run properly in safe mode?

Hi all, I'm looking for a laptop, preferably 2in1, for work use, will need to be able to run multiple browser tabs, excel and word simultaneously and ideally have 7 hour + battery life 1100 gbp budget, any reccomendations?

Hi guys, I have never owned a laptop or worked on one for that matter so I'm not hugely knowledgeable on the matter. My mother is looking to buy a new laptop to hopefully last a good few years. For context: Would be used mostly for Netflix,spotify and light photo editing. She has said she would prefer an intel processor and I'm assuming an i7 would be the way to go for future proofing. If anyone could give any suggestions it would be awesome
