Just last week, my area Best Buy had stock of 3080's and 3090's. The process changed a bit. I'll try to make sense:
It let me add to cart.
The cart button then turned brown, with a message stating I'm on a random list of people who may get one. Please wait a few minutes. If the button changes back to yellow, you can add to cart, and it's reserved for you. Caution, check out quickly, as reservation is only 3 minutes.
So I go to check out. Enter credit card info, and choose pickup method. A message popped up stating only in-store pickup is available. And here's where the problems started.
On the BB website, only curbside pickup is an option for any product. In store is gone, period. For any product. No instore option on the site.
So I enter my CC info, click check out, and get an error. "In store pickup only." But again, in store is disabled for all products.
So I tried from my phone, Mac, and PC. Same results. The three minutes expired, and all stock was gone.
The 3090's, I had the same experience.
