  1. You probably got me redhanded! I just enjoy the idea of upgrading and getting new things and so on for my computer. I guess I was more or less trying to see if there was an obvious component that needed upgrading, but the general consensus seems to be "Eh, you seem to be in a decent spot"
  2. Cool, thanks for the feedback! I'll certainly consider
  3. I'm not really sure tbh, ryzens multithreaded performance comes in handy with work/school stuff and handles games fairly well. 32GB of RAM would be nice though for things like that though. Cranking some settings and ray-tracing with a better GPU sounds nice as well, but I would rarely play with ray-tracing on. Perhaps a quick, beneficial upgrade would be the RAM? Especially for res Sims and the fact that my brother and I recently started making games in UE4? However, my 144hz monitor doesn't exactly see its full potential in some games...perhaps a GPU upgrade isn't out of the question. I'm kind of at a crossroads here
  4. This might hurt you to hear me say this...but what do you mean by that? Like should I maybe consider an external hardrive?
  5. Yeah that's not a bad idea, allowing more flexibility would be nice, but the case is already pretty stacked with Be Quiet! fans
  6. Ohhh I see. I use it for gaming a lot of the time (Destiny 2, ESO, etc.) but also use it for reservoir simulation software for school and work.
  7. Is the case used? No it's new, though a bigger case would probably be something that would allow more future flexibility. Thanks for the help!
  8. I would put my budget at around $500 I suppose. I'm mainly trying to determine what single component could benefit most for an upgrade
  9. I have a 512 gig NVMe SSD and then a 2TB HDD. My storage feels manageable, though I may consider a 1TB SSD at some point!
  10. Hey all, so my build contains a Ryzen 5 3600x CPU, 2x8 Gigs ddr4 3200 RAM, and an RTX 2060 GPU. What would make sense for my next upgrade in the near future? Everything runs fairly well, but nothing like makings upgrades Other: X570 motherboard ibuypower mid tower case 750watt 80+ gold power supply (room for upgrades) Edit: I have a 512GB NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD Thanks!
