    I wish I was joking about the beeps while browsing or gaming but no . I've actually tried 2 sticks on all slots and it all booted normally but might try again. Thanks for answering!

    1. Tried all slots, it all booted normally. 2. I’ve been using 2 and 4. 3. My pc doesn’t beep on startup, it actually beeps while I’m browsing randomly or gaming. 1 beep followed by 2 consecutive beeps. Sometimes, it only beeps once. Then after a few days, I’ll only see 8GB of ram on my pc.

    I’ve sent my board to the seller once before I built my pc(back in January), cause I thought that It was broken so they updated it, and I’m assuming that the board now has the latest update.

    So I just recently built a gaming pc, and sometimes, my ram suddenly goes from 16GB to 8GB. Every time it happens, I reseat it and it goes back to normal. I wonder what causes it to disappear. Help thanks.

    I actually used the power supply before that I was going to use with the new board, so that’s already a big no to the power supply. At this point, might as well RMA it. I’m too newbie to do the Q-FLASH thing, and too broke to find someone to repair it. I’ll just wait and see with the seller. Thank you very much!

    But how do I update the bios if I can’t boot the motherboard, genuinely asking, first time building a pc.

    Update 2: first I just put the cpu(1300x) to my new board and no gpu, the motherboard lit up but there were 3 red lights that pop(cpu, gpu, vga). Then I shut it down the put my gpu in with a monitor and then cpu remained, gpu and vga red line disappeared. Does this indicate that the motherboard is defective?

    Update: I used my old board(asus tuf b350m) and the it posted, it also reads the cpu. Now I’m trying to put my old cpu(ryzen 3 1300x) to the b450 elite. If it still glows red(the cpu indicator), does it mean that the board is defective?

    I’ll try 1 ram stick first then the other one if I still get the red light.

    No, I connected it to my gpu not the motherboard. I always double check the cables.

    So I just bought myself an aorus b450 elite bundled with a ryzen 5 2600. I turned on the power and saw the cpu icon on my motherboard glow red. I checked the manual that cam with the box and saw that my cpu might not be working properly, any fix?

    So I'm currently using an Asus tuf b350m-plus gaming mother with a Samsung 860 EVO 250G SATA M.2 and currently upgrading to a b450 aorus elite (rev. 1.x). I'm a newbie in building a pc and thought that it may not be compatible with my current boot drive.

    Hello! This is my first time posting here. I am asking for help about my storage(sshd 1tb) for disappearing sometimes in my computer. Then whenever I open my pc, POST doesn't pop up and only displays a black screen for 30+ seconds. After the long black screen, the windows logo would appear and would load another 30+ seconds(I have my os on my nvme ssd) before logging into my desktop. My quick fix for this would be to reseat the cables from my storage for it to run normally again. Just want to ask if my cables are damaged or my storage itself is the one that is faulty. Also, pc boots up whenever I put it to sleep(also need help).
