it happened to me but not typical you are somewhat right. i got the oneplus 4 i was doing an activity on the phone a specific app i had to let open like on PC :: i got burn in as well the icons of the background some of them let a burn in so that it is less typical now tech changed they have add much of protection and we know it we are aware stil sadly i see not much of statistics like number of return devices because of burn in or complaints that would be nice to have until that people will be scared

Again 240 Hz is non sense Why ? Human eye can only see 24 images per second that means 24 Hz But studies especially Japanese study showed that the eye can be still sensitive to fluidity till 120Hz So when you have 120Hz screen and 120 fps yes it is helpful After that it is marketing They'll show you fake images of pixels clear and not clear to show how it improves that's pure marketing meaning nothing of course youtubers sellers magazines will sell you the 240Hz that's how they live they need money like all of us

so for my 55 OLED from LG never noticed i don't agree at 27 inches monitor i cannot see any pixel 1440p is very good for 27 inches for 4k go bigger clearly problem 4k means more power but anyway we can always game 1440p on 4k monitor and use 4k for something else . i am scared even my 4080 would be soso for 4k people should really think graphic card when speaking about monitors i hesitated for G9 i liked it but too expensive right now 240hz blabla bullshit marketing your eyes cannot see the difference yeah considering 60hz eyes that for smooth you can say 120 Hz is fine to have but 240 Hz hmmmm there are alot of things like this in high tech : marketing selling features which are useless if technology in same price is better ok but pay a huge price for marketing no

i have a 27 inches curved ASUS TUF one i don' notice even the curve i am really used to it . next to it for work with work owned screesn i have 3 screens 24 flat next to each other : tired of these but company doesn't change these anyway from 27 i want to go ultrawide or 42 inches like tv but considering i work with lot of windows ultra wide is smarter . in that case of course that should be curved : if i don't want curve i take two 27 inches oh and sometimes i feel i should take two 27 i never took decision sticked in thinking : what is the best of three options + having high doubts OLED is good for my work well it depends ..but it depends not only on screen size but your use : i can take a 42 inches tv as monitor but yes probably question should have been wiht more options to be interesting i agree

ahah 4 years ago it happened something terrible to my tv by accident a remote falled down on floor by accident and very very very bad luck it jumped to the border of tv (lg oled that i mistaken to put n the flloor) it was just slighty damaging corner like almost no see but when i switched tv it started few pixels off then later it invaded a big part of tv pixels were diing but it ddn't prevent me to buy another LG OLED and for years now i have i am careful even for burn in not letting son play too much ... and i have zero problems so far . really zero problem. i would be worried use as monitor (lg c1 here) because of bad experience with old phone with oled screen but trust me : when you read bad comments on amazon or anywhere ... people who are unhappy tend to writ much more than people who have no problem with tv

just to say that i got phone burn in my son often used it (when young) to play a specific game for hours sometimes and the few icons and some character always appearing somewhere let some trace ... you have now these marks that always appear very much. some icons from icons home page also let marks. it is one plus 4 with oled screen and quite old now but after two years i already had burn in

I come from 27" and i am looking for 32 or 34 testing one so in a friend' s place it is impossible to believe to downgrade the size if you have only one screen considering your card (i have 4080) 1440p ultrawide should be no problem the best if you do like me ... try it for some time in a friend's place if you can or try a place at work or somewhere with such screen and you see the difference: for me i have different activities in my activity i need a large screen OR two screens : my company gave me two 24 screens ... convenient (would be better two 27) but ultrawide is so convenient : some doc there; some news of my work and coding part or other thing related anyway itdepends your activity: if you only game it depends what games : if you don't care wide view in a game and at your work activity you don't need large scrren go 27 high quality one by the way i have tuf 27 (asus) and very very happy of its quality 165hz ...

I have the DT 1990 pro and very happy with it for me they are enough in details and neutral and that makes me happy with it. it is the one i just most often after the death of the Q702 i loved too of course you can find better but for this range of price definitively one of the best i have a DAC and i use for my PC .. i am trying to buy a better DAC by the way i have cheap one but first this month is buying the new CG (hum so expensive) you know the best is try find someone having it to listen to it ... or try buy in store you can return it

I have a 27 inches monitor 1440p i will go to bigger wonder if interesting having 4k since i guess hard to have the video card matching. Important note : i very probably will wait new AMD video card (even if not 100% sure). for my needs CPU is important and also 64Gb RAM .
