  1. thank you all i too wanted the 3060 ti but got confused when i saw the 3060 12 gb.
  2. i almost completed building my pc. just stuck in what GPU should i get. i game at 1080p and stream on fb sometimes pc specs- ryzen 5 3600 16 gb 3200 mhz ddr4 ram cooler master mwe 650 watt psu my question is which GPU will last longer (which gpu will allow me to play games at 40 fps minimum after 3 years) the 8 gb 3060ti or the 12 gb 3060? long story short when i am gaming at 1080p which should i go for- video memory or cuda cores for so called future proofing? (8 gb 3060 ti has 4864 cuda cores while the 12 gb 3060 would come with 3840 cuda cores) i regret buying the 4gb gtx 1050ti over the 3gb gtx 1060 3 years back
  3. will post later, cant just now however thanks for the interest
  4. absolutely nothing since i changed the case. no display to the monitor. so i have no idea what is going on.
  5. @Red_Fox_1293 nope. it never beeped earlier when i used it in the older case
  6. i have a system which i had to transfer to a new case. the specs are cpu i3-7100 with iGPU mobo gigabyte h110 s2h crucial 8 gb ram when i turn on my pc after connecting every hardware component, the cpu fan turns on and the mouse led glows but no post to the monitor. what are the possible solutions?
  7. my ryzen 5 3600 used to hit single core max speed of about 4.1 ghz when i used an old 8gb 2133 ram while running cinebench r20 but ever since i upgraded it to a 16 gb 3000mhz ram (currently running at 2666. not yet xmp'ed to 3000) my cpu cannot even cross 3.85 ghz single core max speed. is there any reason to such loss of performance?
  8. both are almost equally priced. will use them for OS and games such as COD and GTA V
  9. please suggest the better out of the 2 ssds Western Digital WD Blue NVME SN550 500GB M.2 vs Kingston 500GB A2000 M.2 2280 Nvme
  10. oh yeah. that might be a matter of concern. that would gulp at least 100$ of his budget down.
  11. is it really worth upgrading to a 20 series now? i recommended the upgrade of other parts so that he can sell his current pc and get a 3060 or put in some more money and get a 3070
  12. if your budget is around 56k inr get a ryzen 3 3300x or a 3100 or ryzen 5 1600af and a 1660 super(preferably from the used market) considering the fact that you used a 6th gen intel processor i guess you have a ddr4 ram. if your budget is around 70k get a ryzen 5 3600 instead. that would leave an option to upgrade the gpu in the future. p.s. you can also get new 1660 super. but it wont be worth because 30 series is just round the corner
  13. @AndrewZScorpion thanks for your reply. so you are saying both are compatible. however the sn550 is a better performer
  14. i am using a ryzen 5 3600 on a gigabyte b450m ds3h wi-fi motherboard ( https://www.gigabyte.com/in/Motherboard/B450M-DS3H-WIFI-rev-10#kf ) what kind of m.2 ssd can i use? the kingston one ( https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-480GB-Internal-SA400M8-480G/dp/B083WNX8H6/ref=sr_1_12_sspa?crid=13A2VH7SLW3Z7&dchild=1&keywords=m.2+ssd&qid=1599315272&sprefix=m.2%2Caps%2C642&sr=8-12-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFYS0JHRUk2T0I0OTImZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTEwMjgzMzczS1ZORzE1S0FaVU5DJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0MjM3NjkyUUdWMDVKOVo5NTUxJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfbXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== ) with B key or the western digital one ( https://www.amazon.com/Blue-SN550-1TB-NVMe-Internal/dp/B07YFF3JCN/ref=sr_1_3?crid=13A2VH7SLW3Z7&dchild=1&keywords=m.2%2Bssd&qid=1599315385&sprefix=m.2%2Caps%2C642&sr=8-3&th=1 ) with M key thanks in advance
  15. r5 3600 idling doesnt seem ok also what ram config are you using? what mobo?
  16. is the 3600x really necessary, because the 3600 and the x variant is almost the same except for the extra 2-3k for 200mhz clock speed which will have negligible impact on gaming performance when paired with high end gpu like 2080 or 2080ti@ColdPressCoconutOil
  17. never used their service, but there are a few negative comments about them on the internet. that is why i had to pay about 3k extra to get the build from local shop as i got it during the strict lockdown.
  18. you can trust md and vedant. i bought from them. quite a few times. this is my 3rd pc build so i got it from local dealer because covid bullshit. however i got my psu and ram from vedant
  19. i am using a gigabyte b450m ds3h wifi. but i would have gone for MSI tomahawk or asrock b450 mobos. but i got it from a local dealer and he said he would not take responsibility in case of warranty claim. so i had to ditch msi and asrock. if your dealer can assure then get either of the 2 because their vrms are quite good. you can watch hardware unboxed youtube channel for best mobos.
  20. and yes the gigabyte c200 case costs around 3.5k so lookout for that thing.
  21. do not get the gigabyte ones. as @ColdPressCoconutOil said if you can get the corsair CX one definitely go for it. i was in a hurry, so i had to do with the cooler master one. go for cx model if you can get 1
  22. imo it is the best processor you can get at this price. i get well above 140 fps with 1050ti in apex. in gta V i get around 80-90 at very high settings. i also streamed on fb using x264 encoder and there was no significant performance drop. your configuration is really good. you just need to focus on the ram and the psu. i was getting that performance using 8 gb 2133 ram. my 2x8 gb 3200 sticks are on the way trust me you should really focus on psu. as i mentioned above, my cheap psu went out in flames when i was playing rainbow 6 last week. so i am getting a cooler master MWE 650 watt white psu. consult the psu tier list i mentioned above.
