  1. My current system is AMD Ryzen 9 7950x asus x670E-E 64 Gb g.skill 6000 36-36-36-96 (16gbx4) rog strix 4080 OC PSU evga 1300w P+ current bios has ram at 4800 expo disabled and I’ve tried expo I enabled at 6000 for ram and same results. I have built the system using different parts twice now. I even took my entire purchase back last weekend and exchanged it thinking something was faulty. I have updated to bios 0805. I can boot up no MOBO codes, log into desk top and have zero issues. I’ve ran 3D mark stress test, benchmark and heaven tests without issue. Randomly I’ll be playing games doesn’t matter which one it is and my computer will go black screen, MOBO will show code 15 and goes through the boot sequence it seems and I’m back to windows asking for a login and I’m back to the desk top. I’ve tried everything from switching parts, running with less ram sticks, everything boots fine every time but randomly i get a system restart, black screen and code 15 on motherboard. I am beyond stumped and any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Is there going to be a big jump from the Gen 3 to Gen 4? I read they are still going to be AM4. I sold my old setup so I would need to get something now. Basically looking at a new MOBO, RAM, CPU, PSU and SSD. So I can't wit until later this year for the Zen3. I am not sure what I would need to eliminate the bottleneck though.
  3. So I fixed the ram issue and it’s reading at 2933 MHz now. However even with changing the settings for warzone I’m barely breaking 100 FPS. I can hit 115-120 during game play on low settings but it definitely bounces around. Not sure if anyone knows if this is a bottle neck from the CPU or maybe a graphics card issue. I haven’t used any software to OC anything.
  4. I am not sure if XMP is enabled or working correctly. I've gone into the BIOS and it's showing 2933 Mhz for the Ram. When I first booted it was reading the 2133. After a lot of messing around and using the asus tuning I was able to finally get to the 2933 mhz. I tried using the DOCP to manually force it but wouldn't allow, booted in safe mode. I finally got it to read. Last time I tried a mild OC on the CPU same thing happened booted in safe mode. I've been seeing videos with the standard RTX 2080 people are seeing easy 180+ FPS on high and well over 230+ on low and even those videos seem to be running smoother than mine. Only reason I have the RTX 2080 card is because I was running dual 980 prior and had the money to upgrade and decided on the GPU.
  5. Budget (including currency): none Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Modern Warfare and Warzone Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current build is AMD Ryzen 5 1600 32gb Ram (2x8 g. Skills DDR4 300 and 2x g. Skills DDR4 3200) Asus Rog Strix B350-F Samsung evo 850 SSD EVGA RTX 2080 Super FTW 3 Hybrid OC HP 25x 144 Hz, 1ms refresh rate. Im looking to possibly upgrade the monitor if I can find a way to achieve an FPS above the 144Hz My issue is i've tried tweaking in game settings for warzone from max to low and can barely break 100 FPS max, I've unlocked all the settings to not cap the FPS. I am not sure if the graphics card isn't as good as advertised or if I have a CPU bottle neck, Ram issue being different stick speeds Etc. I am contemplating returning the GPU for a TI but the price and increase doesn't seem worth it especially if the issue is elsewhere. I am open to any feedback. I've watched a ton of Youtube videos but it's been a while since I've built PCs. I haven't done anything software wise as far as OC, just plug and play. All drivers are up to date as well. Thank you.
