  1. Hello LTT FORUM peeps I have a person that's Willing to trade a rtx 3060 msi gaming X trio that he bought 2 days ago for my 2060 super gigabyte twin OC since he only needs it for mining and can't use it cuz of the driver issues and basically hes asking for 50$ on top of the card for the trade and he's legit should I go for it ? Internet isn't helping as much for the comparison and I use it mostly for gaming and virtualization
  2. What i have : Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 2060 Super Gigabyte Twin OC v2 Gigabyte Aorus B450M Elite 3000 MHZ corsair vengeance dd4 Ram @ CL15 Corsair VS 650 Psu + Seagate 4TB HDD +250Gb Kingston sata ssd Cheapo Zebronics Coal case along with stock wraith prism cooler Hey folks , I plan on travelling for the next 2-4 years just to get some work done and id like to take my PC along with me and the case I have right now is kinda chonky I was hoping to find the smallest m- atx case that's within reason so that it'll help fit my components whilst also provide adequate cooling and I'm having a hard time finding a good case that will match my requirements I use the stock cooler but I am down to upgrade it as well cuz space is definitely an issue and I hope y'all can help me find something good that fits my requirements Thanks a lot in advance
  3. Budget (including currency): 250 USD Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Virtualization & Gaming What i have : Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 2060 Super Gigabyte Twin OC v2 Gigabyte Aorus B450M Elite 3000 MHZ corsair vengeance dd4 Ram @ CL15 Corsair VS 650 Psu + Seagate 4TB HDD +250Gb Kingston sata ssd Cheapo Zebronics Coal case along with stock wraith prism cooler i want to upgrade my pc and also change out the Motherboard, Case and psu to mini ITX so that i can travel with it whilst not sacrificing too much on Thermals so i wanted to feel out my options for a cheap and good B550 or X570 mini itx motherboards so i have a good idea on where to start or what to start with Any recommendations guys ? Any suggestions are welcome
  4. i do test overclocks from time to time maybe if i upped the budget by a 70 can i fit in a sweet b550 in there ?
  5. Ive settled on the case as sg13 v2 itll be perfect, psu is good , mobo tho cuz idk if i wanna use an aio when i travel as much as i do and fans are more reliable in that sense
  6. if i change over to an a520 wont i lose support for 5000 series ? , future proofing is important to me since i plan on having this around for a long time , the case and psu are worth considering but yeah motherboard tho i dont mind spending an extra 50 on it
  7. how big is the SG13b , YouTube and google doesn't do it justice and it looks kinda chonky ,i want it to be able to fit easily in a suitcase even though ill disassemble it during travels
  8. What Motherboard, Psu & Case combo would go easy on my budget without sacrificing much
  9. Budget (including currency): 300-350 USD Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Virtualization & Gaming What i have : Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 2060 Super Gigabyte Twin OC v2 Gigabyte Aorus B450M Elite 3000 MHZ corsair vengance dd4 Ram @ CL15 Corsair VS 650 Psu + Seagate 4TB HDD +250Gb Kingston sata ssd Cheapo Zebronics Coal case along with stock wraith prism cooler I love looking at videos of youtubers making ultra compact builds on a mini itx case under 10-15 liters and finally saved up 300usd to do the same, id like to change my motherboard, case & Psu to ones that would let me build a compact yet cheap build that wont thermal throttle or cause any instability issues Ive attached pics of the current setup i built myself, still aint that good at cable management so go easy on me please WhatsApp Video 2020-11-09 at 11.11.14 PM.mp4
  10. But the next cards would probably be pics 4.0 and using a 3.0 would lead to sacrificing bandwidth and lanes I think it’ll just perform badly compared to the same rig with pcie 4.0 support
  11. Yeah but the psu covers the bottom vent hence it would want me to place the fans under the case itself externally and it’s just too much dust to handle so I let it just exist as holes under my case the little fan I got for like 30 cents each so yeah I got a bunch on alibaba for like 5$ they come in handy and can plug into any fan header , now in the process of making better air filters
  12. I certainly zip tied every loose cable and hid as much as I could without flexing the back of the build too much I did take an hdd out and yes I did install a lil tiny fan a long time ago above the psu grill , I’ll look into the static pressure fans and I makeshifted an air filter until the ones I ordered arrives apart from that I plan to give her a monthly clean inside and out and I’ll try to do a better job at cable management then I do have experience with older systems but man the case isn’t good for cable management maybe they meant that no cables without a computer actually in it thanks a lot bro you’re a legend
  13. I plan to use the rig for atleast 5 years from now I bought it all and assembled it it works fine but yeah I’m good with 1080p-1440p gaming but it’s more focused on virtualization so 8 cores do make a good difference tbh I’d sell the 2060 in a year or two so I thought the 3700 x would help balance a next gen gpu or a 2080super /ti in the future, opinions ? I hope the mobo supports a next gen gpu ,we don’t know what Nvidia is cooking up for medium tiered gpu’s it’s all ampere 3000 or 3080 btw the case was 35$ brand new it’s coal by zebronics
  14. And the side panel is plastic but it’s smoked so it looks cooler Idk what that does for thermals tho
