Hello,
Earlier today I built my first pc. Once all of the components were installed, I turned on my monitor hoping to access the BIOS page. However, pressing “delete” did not do anything and I was instead greeted with a blank screen that said “No signal detected” in the corner. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get an actual display on my monitor. I’ve tried using a DVI-D connector instead of DisplayPort. I’ve reinstalled almost every component of my computer to make sure everything was correct. I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back in the DisplayPort and power cords a countless number of times. I’ve tried using a different monitor with the same DisplayPort and DVI-D cables (I only have one of each, but the DisplayPort cable is brand new and the DVI-D cable works when I plug my monitor into my laptop). I’m a little worried I damaged the CPU when installing the cooler due to how hard I was pressing down or damaged the GPU when installing it because of its size, but the motherboard has indicators that light up if there are any problems with components, and so far nothing has lit up. Thank you in advance.
