Could it be a motherboard issue? Or could a virus affect my hardware in such way?

It is a PC. It feels like I have a broken touchscreen in a sense.

It's worth to mention that it opens the same tab like 4 5 times, if I let it in the same place it can open as many as it wants.

Hi Guys, I hope that you can help me with this as I am all out of options. My PC is acting up as it keeps opening tabs, windows (anything that can be opened) while hovering. This happens frequently but not all the time however it's making the use of the computer very frustrating. I tried other mice's , usb port, reinstalled fresh OS. After reinstalling the OS it is a little better but it still did not disappear. What else can I try and what could be the problem? Thank you guys I appreciate it!
